Calfin Surfboard Ceiling Racks

We live in Guam so we like to paddle out a lot with the 365 day summer weather but we don't like to give up valuable garage space to hold our crazy large boards! We purchased this rack to hold my Boga paddle board in our garage. It holds it perfectly above where our garage doors open which would have been nothing but dead wasted space otherwise! This rack puts that dead space to work! My board is over 13 feet so it's quite large and there is still plenty of room to hold another board on the other side, which my husband is now shopping for. Our house is made of concrete so there were adjustments we made to the type of screws and drilling methods to mount the rack but it was simple enough as we have had to accommodate everything in order to mount items into concrete walls in our home. This should be much easier for everyone with normal studs in homes and a simple job that pays off. I recommend using the dead space above where the garage doors open, it fits perfectly there for us and would have on most houses we lived in because there is always room up there that is waisted. I recommend this rack for anyone who just needs a perfect non clunky rack to hold your boards out of the way in your treasured garage space :)

Great, sturdy mounts. Comes with all hardware needed. The mounting "template" they included made no sense at all, so I just used a section of cardboard box to ensure things were square and in line once installed. Currently have a 10'x30" standup and a 9'6" longboard on one pair; bought a second pair which are holding three shortboards and an old 9' singlefin. Check your garage door clearance if you're going to mount above it. Great product!

Works wonderfully! Be sure of which way your rafters run so you can anchor in solid wood, as well as making sure you are clear of garage doors. Mine partially shiields one ceiling light, as it was the only place that would work for me. Luckily my longest board is 12.5 feet, as a 14 foot board would not fit in my garage. This rack is an awesome way to use garage space efficiently; I had no room for a wall mounted rack, as my walls are covered by shelving racks.

They work! Good clearance from the ceiling...not too low (head banging ) and not to high (enough clearance to easily slide the boards in)

Solid and well made. I mounted over my garage doors and the paddle boards are up for the winter. The only thing I wondered about was the metal has no paint, it is clearly black where it was welded. But you cant see it with the boards on it anyway. Did the job nicely
