SIMMER Organic Classic Marinara Pasta Sauce, 8 OZ

Simmer is changing the sauce game! Not only is the sizing and material used for packaging perfect - but the taste is really unique for a product that can be hard to duplicate. It's difficult to a good sauce that isn't loaded with sugar and other additives to try and separate it's taste - but Simmer does just that. It tastes (and smells) completely homemade- you'd have no idea it came out of package. The variety of flavors makes it perfect for a bunch of different dishes- and it's a super easy and thoughtful addition in a lot of situations. It's perfect for camping, perfect if you want to add a special touch when going over for a dinner party- and easy to take on road trips without any hassle.

I bought the variety pack of six. I haven't tried the other flavors yet, but had the roasted garlic flavor today on some pasta. It was so good I just ordered the 6 pack of this flavor. I only needed to heat it for 1 minute in my microwave, because it tends to cook really fast and I was afraid if I cooked it as long as the instructions suggested it would be too much. So you might want to try it for 1 minute and see if it is hot enough. I think it depends on the microwave. I really liked the taste of this stuff. It wasn't overly sweet like some sauces. I thought it tasted more like pasta you would get at a nice Italian restaurant. I love it and just ordered a microwave pasta cooker so I can have pasta more often. It is the perfect size for one large serving or maybe 2 small servings. It is so easy to fix. I am really impressed with this product!

I am very impressed and hooked on these Simmer sauces- intense flavors, convenient packaging and great pricing. I use it for simmering veggies with chicken, on pasta or spaghetti squash, for parmigiana, stuffed shells and pizza The flavors are a great mix of tomato with spices and intensify when cooked. Easy to transport from grocery to home. My new go to food- love it!

Love the sizing . . . super convenient for my husband and me . . . but by far the best part of this product is the delicious sauce. Loaded with flavor and the perfect texture. I made eggplant parm with the marinara and was literally scraping the pan to get every last bite! Twice!! Just ordered the mixed case and can't wait to try the tomato basil and roasted garlic. Since my kids have grown and flown the coop, I'd been less inspired to cook in smaller batches, but Simmer Foods offers a solution and has me excited about cooking and creating again. And I realize that this product is also great for kids like mine who are at the stage of life where they're cooking for one or two. That said, this stuff is so yummy I'll happily open two or three pouches when I'm cooking for a bigger crowd!

After using sauce in a pouch for the first time I must say I'm officially a Poucher. Seems like the future! You can squeeze and get every bit out, and can use 1 or 2 depending on what you need, instead of having a half used jar for another week, its sealed fresh. I hope they make a spicy parmesan flavor or something cuz ill definitely BUY IT. And I always feel bad throwing out so many nice glass jars. So ill probably stick with the pouch. 5 thumbs up. MUST TRY!!!

Loved the Simmer Sauce! My wife and i took it with us for our camping trip in Newfoundland and it was awesome. We packed it in to our campsite and it was a welcome and tasty reward. Our favorite was the roasted garlic, but we liked all three sauces. Each packet is perfect portion for two people. We used it over both pasta and rice. I totally will make this a staple for all our camping trips to come. In fact, it is so good we will use them for dinners at home!

Yummy, lowish carb sauces for zoodles. A perfect size for single meals. One star deducted for high price.

A bit overpriced for sauce, but it’s delicious!
