Seems to be a quality product
It really feels well made. I’ve had plenty of air hose and this does feel and work like you expect. This was bought for a permanent line from my compressor to my reel. I didn’t want to skimp on a line, that I hope will last and stay put with no failures. It might be larger and heavy than you would want to carry around if longer lengths were used. I routed this up the wall to the ceiling where my air hose reel is. A few rubber lined wire clamps to hold it in place. Works great so far.

The only air hose that I buy
The only time that I experienced a leak in a Goodyear hose was when I dropped my Bostitch framing nailer on it from 10' up. Yes, they're heavy. Yes, they're awkward to maneuver and wind up. But they last and take a beating on the jobsite.

Very flexible and seems sturdy
Nice hose that dose not try to run away from you when attempting to store it.

There is no other air hose.
My last Good Year hose held up for 8 years in the desert. That is 8 summers averaging 105+ degrees with little to no humidity. Winter and Fall nights are often below freezing. This climate is extremely unforgiving to rubber. Rubber bands here have a shelf life of 3 weeks in the summer, after that they just break and crumble. While my last hose did just crumble, it gave me 8 years of at least once weekly service, and often daily use. I imagine that would be close to a lifetime in a milder climate. So I did not rate this as good for light weight, because it is not. It is heavy duty, and built for heavier use. Really I won't waste my time and hard earned money on a hose that won't survive 1 summer. There is no other air hose here. Made in the USA! Made to last. Buy the best and forget the rest.

The last one only lasted 40 years!
Since the last one only lasted 40 years, I thought that I'd take a chance with another one. The 3/8th hose has 1/2 inch pipe fittings that take a 9/16s open end. The leaks disappeared immediately.

Rubber is the best
The Goodyear 12175 Good Year 15' x 3/8" Rubber Air Hose is very flexible and is light years better than the coiled plastic hose my compressor came with. The fittings are excellent and the hose is heavy enough to provide abrasion resistance.

had them for years, even repaired a herniation.
great hoses, very good feel to them, the diablo brand at harbor freight is a bit slicker if you're into that. I dropped an edge of plywood on one of these hoses years ago, it caused the fiber reinforcement to herniate, so I wrapped it in electrical tape at 20lbs a wrap until it had the correct pressure rating, not problem since, just a section about 6" long that was stiff for a year or two.

stays flexible, even at -20 C.
used it with my pancake tank to occasionally top up low car tires. long enough to reach all 4 tires if tank in very front of car.Too short to be used outdoors/roofs on Nailer- but convenient for indoor work so long hose doesnt get in your way.

Good
Looks like a good quality hose, bit concerned with the black banding used by the manufacturer, a bit tight leaving a few noticeable dents on the hose... maybe they go away after a while. I hope this hose last a long time. I'm using this with a portable compressor

Would recommend
Even though I have not used this hose on a COLD day it appears to be good quality RUBBER so I'm assuming it will stay malleable unlike plastic hoses. Also it is made in the USA instead of China which is a huge plus!

Its a fine real rubber hose BUT......
Nice heavy duty "rubber" hose . Should last a good long time. Just no anti-crimp protectors. Where the hose meets the connectors. So a few good wraps with gorilla tape to about 3.5 inch up the hose.....good to go
