This dehydrator is perfect for making Jerky. There is no need to rotate the trays or flip the meat. Heat and air are distributed evenly and perfectly. I made 4 lbs of meat and still had 4 trays left over so I’m figuring that this machine will accommodate 6 lbs with no problem. Very easy to use. Marinated my meat overnight. Places it on the trays. Turned the machine on and walked away. 6 hours later I had perfect Jerky!!!

I made one batch of jerky and it worked. The second time, it does not power on. JUNK!!!!! Unreliable and a waste of hard earned money.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be doing the job and quite well i might add. I've dried about five pounds of elk meat so far and it's wonderful.

I have had this for a few weeks and simply LOVE it.
