Barkley Deficits in Executive Functioning Scale--Children and Adolescents (BDEFS-CA)

As a therapist and coach working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD, I've used Barkley's BDEFS since it was first published. Now, there's a similar scale for use with kids and teens. This scale can help professionals determine if there are deficits in executive function, as well as relative strengths. Executive function is broken down into time management, organization, self restraint, motivation, and emotional restraint, as well as total scores that can help indicate the presence of ADHD.
