Pro BMX Skills: Equipment, techniques, tactics and training

Great guide for modern racing techniques and fundamentals
BMX has changed a lot in 45 years. The BMX racing book I have from the late 1980's would be considered unsportsmanlike conduct today, especially strategy in turns. This particular book was written in 2010, and BMX has evolved more in the 21st Century then it did from 1970 to 2000. That being said, Pro BMX Skills has today's fundamentals and is more technical in nature for the athletes that BMX racers are in this era. Things we old school riders did and had no idea we were doing (and thought we were bada** for doing) are now basic fundamentals, and stuff we thought impossible are now regular skills. If you are coaching your kids this is a great book. Sit and read with them and hit the track to do some training. Be warned if you are over 40 don't try anything in this book at full speed because you aren't an Olympian and aren't 16 anymore. You'll end up hurt and/or dead.

AWESOME BOOK!
This book is awesome. It is a wealth of BMX knowledge. It would literally take a lifetime to experience and learn everything that this book will teach you. Lee presents all this in a easy to understand "racer talk" and only gets" technical"when necessary. Then he explains that! Every serious BMX racer should own a copy! The BMX Bible! I look forward to learning for years and years to come! Thanks Lee McCormack, Coach G. and Danny and Jason! Braaaap!

great book to have
The book covers many basic and advanced skills for bike riding. Although more specific to BMX, some of the skills applies to other types of bike as well. After riding for over 30 years, it never occur to me that turning my hip towards where I want to go can help tighten the turning radius till I read it in this book.I would re

GREAT BOOK!
This is a great book! Very easy to read and understand. My 11 year old has found it very useful and the pics are great for examples. I have noticed a good bit of improvement on his riding techniques in just a weeks time. I would recommend this book to any parent. Especially to a parent that does not have much knowledge on BMX racing techniques.

Book quality
The book is great. Covers all aspects of BMX racing from choosing to setting up you bike to the basic skills and more advanced racing tips. There is also a section on training, although it doesn't have a plan for everyone you can get a flavour and design your own plan. The book is also very easy to read and is an interesting read even if you aren't fully into BMX bikes. Highly recommended.

Definitive BMX book
This books contains a wealth of knowledge for those who are just starting BMX as well as those who have done it for years. Naturally it doesn't replace a good coach but it gives you all the information you might ever need to get started.
