I sent this book to my brother and his wife, and they love it!!!!They have been to Africa and are longing to return.This book gave them a whole different aspect they didn't see on the ground.Thank you!!!

This is such beautiful pictures that once I open the book it is hard to put it down! nice paper used for the printing as well!

This is the most amazing book. The photography is extraordinary capturing the smallest details, such as the smile on someone's face who is waving @ you. It is a must have for anyone interested in Africa & makes one want to go there.

I can only but dream of seeing as much of Africa as Michael Poliza has, but this book carries me along on his journey. The level of detail is incredible - the more I look at the images, the more I find that surprises, delights or intrigues. Many pictures are pure abstract - and then I flip to the back of the book, only to find they are acute observations on some fascinating aspect of the natural world. Sadly, this detailed record is now vital in an age when global warming is changing the face of Africa so quickly. Perhaps these images will inspire us all to make a difference.

Michael Poliza transcends the plane of all that is expected with a bird's-eye documentation of his travels across Africa. The photographs are breath-taking and SO vivid! It's rare to find landscape images, which break from convention as these ones do. Luminous and inspiring-they truly speak to something which is out of this word. I would highly recommend this book and have already bought a few to give out to my close friends as holiday gifts :)

All coffee tables should boast this book particularly if you have lived in or have a fondness for Africa. We received this as a gift after living many years there and relished going through the photographs and descriptions so much that we bought it as a gift for friends celebrating a special anniversary. The beauty of this book is that is doesn't age. No matter your interest in which country in Africa or how deep your connections may be. This book offers an insight unlike any other.

Tolle Fotos mit einmaligen Perspektiven aus dem Flugzeug. Schön wäre, wenn die Erklärungen in einer Extra Beilage wären, so dass man micht immer am Ende des Bildbandes nachschauen müsste.
