UkrEcoGoods Beeswax tealight Candles in Bulk 24 Count with Metal Cup 100% Raw Handmade

I have purchased many different beeswax votive candles but these need some serious corrections. The wicks are so short it is very difficult to light them. If you extinguish them before they are completely done, they are almost impossible to re-light. The wicks themselves are very thick and a bonfire of flame emanates from the candle if the wick is not trimmed mid-burning. If the candle is allowed to burn out, there is a black oily residue which gives off much smoke and odor. But the most DANGEROUS part is that the metal cup becomes so hot that one of these candles broke the glass votive it was in and it became a projectile, along with the metal cup, a good two feet away! These are not safe and need some redesign!

These burn very quickly, but maybe that's the nature of beeswax vs. regular wax ? They seem to light easily, and the smell is not very strong, but it is good. No real complaints so far, and the price was better than some brands.UPDATE: when the tealight burns to the bottom (in my case) they become a fireball the width of the metal cup. At that point they are impossible to blow out and need to be snuffed out. Very dangerous situation i would up in when i left one unattended briefly (which is my mistake, but they shouldn't ignite the way they do). I'm a little freaked out...guess I will have to really be careful as I proceed...I have never seen anything like it.

love these beeswax candles.it does not have a strong parfum smell. it actually an order free. good for neutralizing uncomfortable or bad odor in the room. very well made and good nice sizes. I can almost certainly lighten up anywhere in my place.I'm very happy with the product.

Bought these for the house party, and their size is perfect - its a bit taller than standard round small candles, and it burns longer and smoother! It also fits in various candle holders which is nice, great for urban look and feel. Will buy again

These handmade beeswax votives arrived in a simple brown gift box with lovely illustrations. They are of substantial size but still work fine in all of my tea light holders. They smell wonderful and burn clean and bright for a long time with pure cotton for the wick. Great find!!!

Unless you have a really long gas lighter (so you don't melt yourself while you're waiting forever for the wick to light), don't get these.

These candles look nice, unfortunately they did not light well, once I got them lit they did not stay lit, and if I managed to keep one burning the metal container for the tea light burns whatever surface it is on.
