I'd give the six stars if I could. For years my wife has complained about our closet organizer being too dark. I've use various stick up lights. I finally thought maybe I could hang some shop lights. But then I saw these. Very easy to install. I chose to attach the hangers so that I can replace the lights easily if needed. I like how they included items for bundling up excess wire. When I first turned it on, it looked great, almost professional. I was able to mount the dimmer switch at the right height, but we just prefer to leave the lights at the maximum level and turn them on and off with the toggle switch. Ideally, I want to leave the power adapter toward the ground because of the weight. You only get a short cord from that to the switch. It would've been nice if they would've included a 3 foot extension for that just like they do between the lights. The lights also have connector bars if you just want to make one big light Or a series of smaller ones. Because our closet is long, I spread out each of the lights pretty much equally and it worked well. Man I wish they'd had these around 30 years ago.

We used the light strips to replace halogen lights under our kitchen cabinets. Whereas the halogens got vey hot, these LED strips stay cool and give off as much light. We were able to mount them so it is not possible to see them without ducking down. The dimmer works nicely and allows us to adjust the brightness as needed. Installing them was no difficult except for get the tiny screws in place to hold up the mounting clips. Pilot holes are necessary. The double-sided tape strips worked at first but gave way after about a week so we had to staple the wire, switch and dimmer in place. Otherwise we are very pleased with them.

Really like this product: nice bright illumination, easy installation, low profile and inexpensive. Would give it 5 stars except for the connecter failures. However, the lights became intermittent after a couple of months. Upon disassembly of the LED strips (easy with a very small Phillips head screwdriver), I found that the connecters on either end were not soldered correctly. It appeared that the surface mount connectors had not been heated enough during the solder reflow process. Re-soldering the connectors appears to have corrected the problem. Two of the six LED strips had this problem. This is a process problem that the manufacturer could easily fix.UPDATE: The seller, Tekvilla, was kind enough to offer (with no prodding from me) to ship me one of their 3 pack kits for free. The new LED lights seem to work just fine. So, I guess this is one of the Amazon sellers that really stands behind their product so I'm changing my overall rating from 2 to 4 stars.

UPDATE - The company reached out to me and offered to send a replacement set which just arrived. These are all in perfect condition and are holding up well so far. Really good customer service.These lights worked well to start but didn’t hold up well. Having the adjustable brightness was perfect for my use and at first I liked the idea of modular lights so I could choose how many to link together.However, the connections between the lights are weak and as shown in the picture started to fail. I’m now down to 2 working lights after starting with 6. I expected these to last longer than a few months.

Just instaled these and so far I’m very happy. The only negative is that when you mess with the cords the light will flicker but obviously once they’re secure you aren’t touching the cords so that shouldn’t be a problem. Love the dimming, they go from pretty bright to them enough to have on all night and not disturb anyone in the house. Super easy to install, I ordered an extension cord and an extra plug so I could install on either side of the kitchen and around the above range microwave.

I liked this assembly because all the parts were there and they thought of all the different options you could use thelighting for. Had no problem assembling the parts. Used this for light up a counter that is for preparing meals.Works fine and I hope they have a long life.

Excited to have under cabinet lighting. A little tricky to install. The problems started after installation. One of the connections failed causing me to reduce the lighting by one section. No big deal. Then it started on the other side of the room; one connection failed, then a second. The lights work inconsistently; which is even worse than complete failure. Don’t waste your money and time on these lights. The aggravation is not worth it.

We used these led strip lights in high cabinets to illuminate a ceramic collection. The profile of the strip is very low (about 3/8") so it is invisible. The choice of two kinds of connections made positioning the strips simple. These are plugged about 7 feet off the floor and the remote works perfectly.
