Small and perfectly formed !
My wife had been struggling to measure out her laxative powders using kitchen digital scales so we searched for something more sensitive in the 'few grams' range. These 'pocket' scales have proved a godsend. A compact unit with nice chunky buttons that give a satisfying click when you press them. The readout is immediate and accurate and shown on a very clear screen. The tare function is rapid and easy to use. It does come with a tiny black plastic 'pan' but we use a measuring cup that we had from a protein shake pack (grey on the top right of the picture).A beautifully made 50g calibration weight is supplied and is a cinch to use at the set up - our scales were actually only about 0.11g 'out' on the 50g measure. After calibration we haven't seen any change / deviation after daily use for a month or so, which is brilliant.Thoroughly recommend.

Good enough for me - but about 0.002 out
I love the simplicity, and the fact it’s so small. My previous scale, which I had for ten years, was twice the size and had a maximum of 20g. This goes up to 50 and is tiny. Really clear LCD display unlike my previous one which had no backlight so was useless in the sunshine. My standards were low before this, let’s face it, so I am very happy with this so far, but I should add that even after immediately calibrating the scales to the included 50g weight, when I weighed it again, it would sometimes be 49.999 or 50.001 every time I picked it up. I can live with .002 discrepancy but if you are someone that wants absolute accuracy then you may need to spend a bit extra. I have only just got it so this is my initial reaction which is very positive, but if it starts malfunctioning in a few months I’ll come back to downgrade my star rating. So far, so good.

They work
The weight included is slightly out ..I confirmed this by weighing it on other set of scales... nonetheless with this information I deduced that the scales are accurate...so they work ...very sensitive ... And they are handy ... Can be placed in your pocket....only downside so far is the fact that the lid just sits down rather than it needing a bit of a push...just means you can not safely store the little tweezers and holding tray in there ....but..I'm happy... No batteries included which was a bit of a downside also but I got lucky having some available at homeEdit ..I have changed my stars from 2 to 4 as I am happy with the scales they are doing what I want them to .... the discrepancy of 0.003g is stopping me from giving 5 stars

Great value for money for this set of electronic scales

Display already cut off at the bottom after less than a month of use.
It seems to be pretty accurate but the numbers on the display are cut off at the bottom. You are still able to read it, it's just a bit annoying when I've only had it a month and have stored it away in the box carefully.

Useful & easy to use at a good price
This pocket scale is easy to use and seems to be accurate according to the 50g test weight included in the pack. I'm completely satisfied with this product. The item arrived promptly from the seller via Amazon, and in perfect condition despite the fact that the small box was sent in a cardboard envelope which was partly unsealed on arrival. I'd advise the seller to revisit their packaging decision in case other buyers are not as fortunate as me.

Easy to count small items
I bought these scales based on the description to count small electronic components. The instruction leaflet did not mention this function so I initially thought the function was not there. However, it was there, just no instructions for using it.I experimented with the function and compiled some instructions to use it for counting.Count FunctionTo enter counting mode press and hold PCS button until the screen shows 25 and PCS flashesThis means you need to put 25 items on the pan.The mode button can be pressed at this stage to change the required number of items to 50, 75 or 100Place the required number of items as indicated on the pan(This could be masses from a set of masses to make up the required value from a data sheet e.g.1000 off 0805 surface mount resistors weigh 4 grams so 100 weigh 400mg. With PCS set to 100 put 2 off 200mg masses on the pan)Press PCS again to enter count mode PCS stops flashing and becomes steady.Remove calibration items (masses) from the pan.The display will now indicate the number of items subsequently placed on the pan.I tried weighing some UK pennies which have a nominal mass of 3,560 mg. These registered (over a sample size of 10) between 3,532 mg to 3,591mg with all 10 showing as 35.379 grams. The values were repeatable to within 1 digit for each coin showing a variance of around +/- 1% which is more likely from the coins themselves rather than the scales.I had also purchased a set of masses and put 2 off 2gram masses on the pan and it showed 4.000 grams.I also put the 50gram mass on the pan and it showed 50.000 gramsAll in all, I am really pleased with the scales.
