Cheap and good for what I wanted them for. Fiddly to extend the whole shaft comes out so it’s a nightmare to fix! No instructions. But none the less happy with my purchase despite the difficulty in extending the poles!

I fell down the slope of a Lake District fell and rolled over my old poles which ended up very bent. I bought these on the basis that if I fell down another fell and damaged them, they are easy and cheap to replace. I like that they supply four ends for the poles, so that if one set wear out you have another set to hand; they also go on and come off pretty easily so you can use the points on grass and the rubber ferrules on the path.

Useful kit. I have had a number of issues, firstly it’s a three section aid with two extendable sections. when extending a section it has come off and I have to put back together so not retained well. Secondly black caps where you extend have come away and dropped so not put together that good. Overall ok for a starter but would not recommend overall. You get what you pay for.

bought to replace old ones which had bent and road-tested today over 15 miles round Richmond Park. They come in a bag with lots of extra bits for snow etc. No issues at all, easy to adjust and did the job, as they will when I take them on a 100km challenge walk next month! They definitely help you walk up hills faster and better as well as increasing your cardio workout as you are using your arms more.

Does what it needs to. I use it for wading and its plenty long enough. I'm 6ft and it comes to just below my shoulder fully extended. Quality seems lacking, but I only use it for prodding my way rather than weight bearing!

Great for hills. Check that they fold enough for travelling....a little longer than I had allowed.

The picture description indicates there should be extra ferrules included, but they were not in the parcel. Contacted them and I am awaiting the outcome
