So I purchased these for work, and at $55 bucks for a set of four my expectations weren’t very high....... but ! I gotta tell ya ! Absolutely amazing! So far. Ready to go right out of the package. Clarity is clean. Battery life seems to be completely sufficient for 8-10 shifts and surprisingly the range is incredible!! I live about a quarter of a mile from work and it worked great from there, which I really wasn’t expecting so know I gotta take it a little further and check it out. I will repost after but again they’ve already exceeded my expectations. I mean really, for $55 and you get a extra battery and charger for each one! I’m now thinking of buying a second set for my other job ! Not to mention you also get a headset like law enforcement uses( which I haven’t tried yet but that will be a bonus if they work !! I definitely recommend these !!!

This is the 3rd set of these we have bought over many years. Best radio made for the money. Biggest challenge was finding a way to have all 20 charging stations mobile. Used a "plastic bread tray" and zip tied all the chargers to it! Then found a 20 outlet strip bar on Amazon to plug everything into.

I thought these were already set up for Family Radio Service. This is how I plan to use them, along with a bunch of other brand FRS radios I already own for use by our Citizen's Emergency Response Team (CERT).But, I fooled myself. I have to program these ones for that purpose, by first picking a ComPort, and then doing the spreadsheet programming software. I can do that -- but it will take a lot of time I hadn't planned on spending.This is ENTIRELY my own fault for not more carefully reading the Amazon information.HOWEVER!! This is not Bad News for me. I'm a licensed ham radio operator, and in addition to FRS, I also have some ham UHF repeater channels I can also use! This is a Very Good Deal -- accidentally.The build quality seems quite fine, and I'm sure they'll work for me just fine. The accessory pack is quite useful and appreciated, as is the extra batteries.UPDATE FEB 24, 2020--I found I had a Baofeng programing cable, and it turns out these radios are very similar to the Baofeng BF-88 and BF-888. I used "CHIRP." and they re-programmed to the FRS fairly easily. I also have a couple of amateur 440 repeaters in as well, (14 FRS channels and 2 UHF ham repeaters. Nice "tone" to the ear. These have joined a "mixed fleet" from three different HT makers for a CERT group, and all is happiness. -- 73 --

Can’t hear people in the actual room with this in your ear. Also, the earpieces break within 6 months. Go a different way

My family and I relocated from one side of the country to the other, and had four vehicles on the road at one time, so these came in handy to keep the communication open between all of us. The battery life was so so but each walkie-talkie had two batteries and the charger as well as a car charger so that wasn’t any issue. The range was decent as long as you were within range the quality was great.

The range of these walkies is amazing.

Great product, especially for the price. Kids couldn’t wait to use them during their airsoft battle. Since the came already charged they ran right outside with them before I even attached the antennae! They didn’t even notice, must be good quality!
