The fact that the front cover opens to 90° from the case and the f connectors were easy to screw onto the terminals as that also moves. I was so pleased that the kit included 4 x F connector(s) as I had to put them on my cables before fitting it all together.Would definitely recommend this product.

Tried this and worked perfectly and saved me £200 by not having to get the tv guy out. Simple and easy to fit in less than 10mins. F type connectors and cable tie included too.

No fitting instructions sent with the item, but didn't have any problems fitting it. Its working fine.

Seems like it’s doing the job

This has fixed my TV arial issues! I was having a nightmare with my reception on 3 tv's where only 1 would work. I tried different splitters, adapters, cables etc and even another booster (that stopped everything working)... then this one fixed everything because of the surge protection error light! As soon as I plugged in 1 of the coaxial cables, it triggered a surge protection error.. I checked both ends of this cable but it still triggered a surge error, so instead I ran a new cable into loft replacing this one and this time no surge protection error at all. Now all tvs are working and signal has been boosted for all which is looking much better than even the single TV was beforehand.Without this surge protection error light I could have been troubleshooting for ages, and I didn't even know it had this!

Bought as an exact replacement for a customers failed unit.Original one was over 20 years old so hopefully this one does the the same years as the original installers location was terrible access.

If you need to split a TV signal it's best to do it as near to the aerial as possible to retain signal quality. The splitter box came with the right amount of F connectors to connect the aerial and all three down leads. The aerial is in direct sight of the Rowridge transmitter on the Isle of Wight some 12 miles away but I have noticed a significant improvement in the quality and stability of the weaker channels such as BBC4 HD.

It works as far as connecting and passing through the TV signal but you basically hang the unit rather than fixing it to the wall. You need to pre-fix 2 small screws to the wall at a precise distance from each other (to the millimetre) in order to hang the unit from it. If you have a brick / masonry wall then that's a challenge. A plastic cable tie is also provided for fixing to the aerial pole but not all plastics are durable for use outdoor due to UV effect on plastic
