Straps aren’t long enough to allow our 6 month old to reach the floor. Can’t touch their toes. Had to add boards on floor to make it work. And yes I lowered as far as it would go

I love this sturdy and cute doorway jumper. I bought it for my grandson and my nephew. As my nephew outgrows it, my grandson will be growing into it. I’ll get a lot of use from it. I was floored by the low cost and the cute pattern. The jumper is sturdy and comfortable for our boys to use. The strap adjusts to help give you the perfect length where your child’s toes can touch the floor. I feel like this product is safe and stable. It’s easy to use and has good bounce. My nephew loves it and it occupies his time well. I don’t find it too noisy either. It’s a fabulous way for me to get things done like cooking, while keeping my nephew nearby and watching him play. It’s great exercise for him, which all kids need, and keeps him from getting under foot when I’m in the kitchen. I’d recommend this bouncer and find it to be quite useful and entertaining.

As this was the #1 product pick with several thousand reviews as of early 2026 I purchased it without scrutinizing the details. Upon arrival the manual states it works on door frames of 4-5" in width. All our door frames are 6" in width. If you have a house of newer cheaper construction (1980+) it may fit, but I was surprised to see it was not adjustable to fit a variety of frames. Construction quality uses more metal than I was expecting, so I was pleased with the quality, particularly at this price point. However, I thought the harness the baby sits in was far too large, leaving room for the baby to flop around. I was expecting something more like adult climbing wall or zipline harnesses that holds you in a confined space tightly. Our 4 month old just flopped around in the seat, but as your baby ages and gains upper body strength this probably isn't a problem. The other issue is that fully extended to its maximum length, our 4 month old baby was still about a foot off the ground, leaving him dangling in midair unable to jump. As he grows and gains weight, he will pull the spring down with more force and be able to touch the ground, but again, we were unable to use the product, even if we found a door frame it would fit on, as it didn't extend low enough in our 7.5" tall opening for our 4 month to touch the ground. I was able to stretch it really hard and get it to fit around our doorframe, though I felt a bit uncomfortable doing this, but even then the safety strap is too short to attach (see photo). I am trying a more expensive Jolly Jumper as reviews say it works fine on larger doorframes. If you are ok with its short height (use on a door frame <7 foot tall or with a baby older/heavier than 4 months) and you have a thinner door frame it can clamp on to (5" max) then buy this. But otherwise look elsewhere. The product details should make these shortcomings more clear as I don't see size restrictions mentioned.

Ich habe den Bright Starts Deluxe Türhopser gekauft und bin insgesamt recht zufrieden mit diesem Produkt. Der Türhopser überzeugt vor allem durch seine einfache Handhabung und die stabilen Sicherheitsfeatures. Die Klemme zur Befestigung am Türrahmen ist sehr robust und sorgt dafür, dass der Hopser sicher an Ort und Stelle bleibt, ohne zu wackeln. Das gibt mir als Elternteil ein gutes Gefühl, mein Kind damit spielen zu lassen. Ein weiteres Plus ist der gepolsterte Sitz. Mein Kind sitzt darin bequem, und dank der Polsterung gibt es keine Druckstellen. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass der Sitz maschinenwaschbar ist. Gerade bei kleinen Kindern bleibt es ja nicht aus, dass mal etwas daneben geht, und so lässt sich der Sitz ganz einfach reinigen. Auch die Spielzeuge, die am Hopser befestigt sind, machen einen guten Eindruck. Sie sind bunt und abwechslungsreich, sodass mein Kind gut unterhalten wird. Allerdings wäre es schön gewesen, wenn die Spielzeuge ein wenig mehr Funktionen gehabt hätten. Trotzdem reicht es aus, um mein Kind für eine Weile zu beschäftigen. Was mir besonders gefällt, ist die Mobilität des Türhopsers. Er ist leicht und lässt sich gut transportieren, sodass ich ihn problemlos in verschiedenen Räumen nutzen kann. Das ist sehr praktisch, wenn ich beispielsweise in der Küche bin und mein Kind im Blick behalten möchte, während es sich im Hopser vergnügt. Alles in allem bietet der Bright Starts Deluxe Türhopser eine gute Kombination aus Sicherheit, Komfort und Unterhaltung für mein Kind. Auch wenn es vielleicht ein paar kleine Verbesserungspotenziale gibt, bin ich doch sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf. Der Hopser ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung für Eltern, die nach einer einfachen Möglichkeit suchen, ihrem Kind Spaß und Bewegung zu ermöglichen.
