Maesri Panang Curry Paste 14oz

Love this curry paste.Tried Mikes organic Thai curry paste. Not as good as Maesri.Tried a Taste of Thai. Not as good as Maesri.Toss 4oz with about 1.5 cans or a 24 oz carton of coconut milk with thin sliced chicken breast, carrots, and peas, and serve with rice. This stuff is awesome as a quick easy dinner. Tastes like it's from a restaurant.The cans are easier since you don't have to deal with the plastic bag. I didn't notice any flavor difference between the two.

I use it to make Shrimp Penang Curry. 1/3 c. of it is almost medium hot. Also add Thai basil, kaffir leaves and fish sauce, 1 T. brown sugar, onion and bell peppers. I don't know if I can dump it into the plastic container or not. It's in a bag that is irritating to use.

This Thai paste is of excellent quality, and it worked wonderfully well for making my delicious Seafood Thai curry. It tasted really yummy !Quick and Easy to use.. Highly recommend!

The flavor was there but it is in grams so I prefer the curry in the cans. No measuring!

This comes in a bag that you need to snip off on the end to use. I would’ve much preferred something in a small can (which I did find later by the same company). I used all this eventually but it’s far messier than I would like plus it’s hard to measure. Kind of like trying to measure something coming out of a toothpaste tube (Depending on the size of the hole that you cut in a corner). I personally would not order this one again, but if you’re looking for this particular brand and this particular flavor And don’t mind the fact that it comes in plastic bag, it’s a great option. I just did not like the idea of having to squeeze it out of a bag and then try and put it back into the container.

I’ve used many different brands of panang curry and this is the closest you can get to the Thai restaurants! I also have the green and yellow curry and they are also delightful!

Love the flavor of this curry. I eat way to much of it now!

Half cup of paste, sauteed, adding your protein and coconut milk. Serve over noodles, rice, couscous, or with naan. DELISH!
