Fake item received. No proper seal, no proper packaging and the oil was highly highly diluted, not at all pungent. Very disappointed.

Received as prompt as forecast. I think this helped me kick a cold and is still helping me with breathing and stomach issues

I have used this for about ten years to disinfect cuts, for stomach infections, as a mouthwash, etc. Nothing better.

Purchased this North American Herb and Spice, Oreganol P73, after watching a segment on Dr. Oz, where he explained the beneficial properties and uses of oregano oil, and of course he did not specify any particular product, only the properties to look for and a general price line of around $19.99. As it happens, I have been researching for alternatives for oral infection, as I have always had difficulty with traditional antibiotics for anything, whereas, in contrast I have sometimes achieved positive results with herbals/ teas, etc. when combined with common sense.discipline & occassionally a good physician. Additionally, I find myself without Dental Insurance, so I explored endless numbers of products and narrowed it down to about three. After reading all the reviews of these three products on different sites, this product was the only one I found, where consumers referred to using it specifically and /or directly to the gums, for dental/oral infections/ treatment. This is important, because through much research, I have learned all oregano oils are not created equal and can be somewhere between useless and/or harmful, if not appropriate or used improperly. So, after much difficulty with availabilty and delivery times ( 6 weeks delay) I finally ordered this one, on Amazon, which was "In Stock" and still had to wait approx.10 days, Seven of those days, my order sat in limbo somewhere in the system before it reached my account and fortunately it only took about three days to actually be delivered, once it went to shipping. This was an unusual experience for me, when ordering anything online, which is frequently. Needless to say, I was very anxious to receive it, tracked it all the way, and relieved when it arrived. Unfortunately, my schedule has changed and I have not found a practical opportunity to try it, as yet.( I also ordered empty gel caps, to hold a few drops, when ingested, with milk, spaghetti sauce or olive oil, in order to bypass the throat and esophaghal tissues and avoid/alleviate the possible burning, and bad taste, as described by Dr. Oz and online research) When I do try this product, I will first try it directly to the affected area, as described in the consumer reviews, and see how that goes, before I ingest it, so as not to confuse results, just as I would with any new product, topically or internally. Therefore, I will share the results of my experience with this product, and update my review, at a future date. Hopefully, it will be a " definitive" contribution to the reviews that led me to this product. P.S.: As much as we all appreciate the integrity,convenience, competitive pricing, and so much more, " YOU GOTTA' LOVE AMAZON FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE IT PROVIDES ON SO MANY LEVELS AND SO MANY WAYS" that occurs as a natural phenomally of structured, ethical, business practices, much like a self-perpetuating "mini-democracy", with a rating system (forum) comprised of consumers that can share their knowledge of products, that happily can result in people finding products like yours. I say these things, because my research found me @ Amazon, which via reviews, to a source in Greece, another in Turkey, and then to Oreganol P73, which seemed to best serve my purposes.. So, even if this product doesn't work for my situation @ hand, I will have "no buyers regret", because I know that I have purchased a quality product that has helped others and given the reviews, I will undoubtedly find good use for it. I'm writing this review as both a warning and a strong recommendation, which is a strange place to be. Let me be perfectly clear: this oregano oil does not taste "herbal" or "earthy." It tastes like it was brewed in a goblin's cauldron and then filtered through a yeti's old sock. I say this with zero exaggeration. It is, by a factor of 100, the most profoundly disgusting thing I have ever tasted. But here's the crazy part: it seems to work. The Taste: A Moment of Silence The initial two drops are a challenge to your very soul. But the real villain is the aftertaste, which lingers like a bad decision. And just when you think you're safe, a rogue burp can bring the flavor roaring back, forcing you to relive the horror. My wife takes this regularly, but I've taken it a few times. Each time, I question my life choices that led me to that moment. (She's starting to see my side of things loll). A Survivor's Battle Plan (You'll Need This): Do not, I repeat, do not take this unprepared. You need an immediate and overwhelming flavor intervention. * Prep your chaser: Have your favorite strong-flavored drink and snack within arm's reach. Think spicy, think sour, think anything that can fight back. A glass of water is a water pistol in this flavor firefight; you need a bazooka. * Deploy Immediately: The moment that dropper leaves your mouth, launch the counter-assault. Do not hesitate. There is no time for contemplation. So, Why the 4 Stars? Because It Works. Despite the flavor apocalypse, this stuff is surprisingly effective. My wife takes it regularly and finds it genuinely helpful for her overall wellness and recovery. While I'm not brave enough for regular duty, I can't deny that it seems to offer real health benefits that outweigh the temporary, soul-shattering taste experience. At the end of the day, a few minutes of discomfort is a small price to pay for feeling healthier. Final Verdict: If you need a potent, high-quality oregano oil and you're willing to endure a taste that would make a Viking weep, this is the one. It's effective. Buy it for your health, endure it for the story. Just don't say you weren't warned. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, but I'd also send them a helmet and a medal for bravery.
