Motive Gear Review: You also need the c-clipless kit. - I bought this spool for my rear Ford 8.8 installed in my Jeep Wrangler. It has 4.88 gears and I wanted it locked. I did not notice about C clip. You need the C-clipless kit with this spool, so before buying it for a 8.8 rear axle (Ford) take into account the clipless kit. I will have to wait to buy that kit. The spool is real heavy duty built. Review: profile milled, better than expected - did not expect this to be a light weight unit, very nice piece
