This was a great phone case. I’ve dropped my phone hundreds of times and it’s never cracked. Got this case Jan of 2019 and it finally just died August of 2022. The glitter came off within a few months of owning it but the case kept my phone safe. Would definitely buy again

I like this case. So far has been excellent for protecting the phone, not too bulky. I HATE breaking a phone because of a crappy case or no case, so this case has been a success for me. Used for 3 months so far...

I like to research, to a fault, but I’m really glad I took the extra time researching a case for my iPhone XR. After considering many top-rated cases on the market, I chose the X-Doria Defense Lux (dark glitter) case...LOVE it! It’s tough, comfortable, and elegant (marquisite-like beauty with brawn). The case does add a little weight and width to the phone, but I personally like the solid feel, and I have medium-size, girly hands. Detail-oriented buyers, like myself, will likely notice a missing row of texture (at the very top of the case), but I easily put my obsessive-compulsiveness aside for the other benefits; to be practical, I look more at the face of the phone than its backside, and anyone admiring it from afar, won’t likely notice. The sides of the case have a smooth silicon feel, so if you wear a lot of lotion, keep that in mind, as it might make the sides a bit slick (so far, I haven’t had any issues dropping it). The case fits the phone well, without impeding the responsiveness of the power or volume buttons, and I like the redirection of the sound. This is a great all-around case at a good price-point!

It's excellent. I at first thought my iPhone was an XR but I found out it is actually likely an Xs. my phone is just a little bit too small

The lip of the case is not enough to cover the edge of the screen protector. I am replacing my privacy screen for the 2nd time because it got chipped on the side. If the edge of the case was wider the screen would have been protected. The case and screen protector have failed me twice.

This case suits me very well. I wanted to find a case that was protective for the face and especially the camera. This case is heavy but that makes it easier to hang onto for me. I can throw it in my pocket or purse and I know it is protected from the other things it may rub against. The face comes up over the edge which I really like, but still accommodates a screen protector. The thing I like best is that the camera is recessed more than other cases so I don't have to worry about the lens getting scratched. The sparkle is much cuter in person, very subtle. From the face side, it looks and acts like an otterbox and similar in weight to my husband's otterbox. However, my usb is not covered (which is easier for charging) and my speaker is outstanding despite this incredible durability!

This is a great looking case, and very well constructed. Even though the back is made of carbon fiber, there's just enough rubberized material around the edges to prevent the phone from slipping on hard or inclined surfaces. Holding onto this phone is easy with an ample amount of grippy material around the edges.The only issue I've had is being able to find the volume buttons on the left, and the screen button on the right. The case allows for these buttons to be pushed efficiently, but there is no texturing to allow for the hand and fingers to find them. It just about requires a visual check to find the right spot. The design should include significant texturing or raised symbols for a more tactile approach to finding the buttons.

I bought this case for my hubby's new iPhone XR. He wanted something black that wouldn't slip out of his fingers and had no moving parts that would break off. This case fits those criteria. In addition, with it's "military grade drop protection", it should stand up to a few bumps without being bruised. It feels slightly "grippy" on the outer edges, and the back is smoother with a classy looking two-tone design. It would have been nice if it had come with a tempered glass screen protector, but I got a three pack of them for another 10 bucks, so we could each have one...and not have to worry about the one I wrecked while learning how to stick it on to the phones ;0)

I think the thing I like most about this case is the fact that the buttons (volume and side buttons) are very easily pressed with the case on. I have had so many cases where the buttons were so hard to press through the case or simply inaccessible because of poor fit. This case is great for that fact. The redirection for one of the speakers is clever as well. Easy on. No struggling. Pink and sparkly. Cost efficient. 5 stars.

If you're looking for a case that'll keep your phone safe from high drops, this is it. If you prefer sleek and slim which we all know offers less protection this is not for you. if you value more protection with a nice looking case then you should get this. It fits the phone well and is extremely durable. It's not the best fit in your pant pocket but completely fine in your jacket or purses.

Seems to work good (I've had it on the phone for a few hours now) no complaints out of the gate. The phone itself is much larger than my previous iPhone 6 so I think any annoyances with button placement etc feeling different or not operating the same as other reviewers have indicated are the phone and not the case itself. I got the black sparkly one and looks great in person - just enough glitter to look feminine without looking tacky. Even the guys at work were oohing and awing over it.

I love this case. It is perfect for my needs. It is very solid and the materials are great. Silicone around the trim provide good grip. The leather back looks elegant. And the shiny metal is strong. But you should know that it is substantial and adds weight. I would not, for example, give this to my wife.
