I really love this watch, mostly..
Got this for Nursing school, the numbers are fast to read, I like having the 24 hour numbers on the watch face, the tritium is top shelf, very bright and I can read the watch easily in low light...so no need to turn the lights on and wake my patients to get basic vitials. I did swap the metal watch band for some silicone bands.. figured it would be better for washing blood and fecies off.. should I have a bad night. So far this watch is freaking awesome.Small update, the crystal seems fragile. First I got a nice scratch no idea what I may have bumped into, also with one unlucky drop the crystal cracked. Not ready to break up with it yet. Took it to a watch repair place and they can replace the crystal for about twenty five dollars. So I am waiting on that to get get done.

MUCH, MUCH BETTER THAN YOU'D EXPECT FOR THE PRICE!!
It just arrived, and I can hardly believe the apparent quality of this watch. What a surprise!! Yesterday I decided to try it "on a lark", so to speak, because I wanted a tritium watch. I bought an inexpensive one for this venture, the Carnival PASOY, instead of going for the higher priced watches like NITE. Much to my surprise this watch looks fantastic. It's solid, has a good weight to it and in short it exceeds my expectations from the "git-go". I may buy another Carnival watch for dress instead of going to the high-priced spread as originally intended.

Nice Watch
This watch looks sharp and does not feel cheap. I'm mostly pleased with my purchase although slightly disappointed on the water rating. The description says 'super waterproof design'. The back of the watch says "3 ATM Water Resistant". 3 Atmosphere equals 30 meters depth. If you do an internet search for watch specs, the 'experts' say they would not even go out in the rain with that rating. So I don't know what to think. I plan to get it wet as much as possible during the return period. In the end, it needs to survive a shower if I forget it and it needs to survive a few seconds at arms length under water for fishing and boating. Before I read that 3 Atmosphere was a poor rating, I had already dunked the watch in water to test it. Oopsie, but NO issues. 30 seconds at one foot and 15 seconds at 2 feet. For under $3 bucks, I bought the Square Trade 3 yr protection plan that popped up when I ordered. This is my first experience with Tritium, I did not know what to expect. If you are in the same boat, I'll say don't expect it to glow like in the picture. If lighting is bright enough to see the face and hands clearly you won't see the glow. As it gets more dark and the hands fade from view, the glow will be there for you. To give another example, if you are in a normally lit room with daylight adjusted eyes and you walk into a totally dark closet, you will see the glow. It will be dim at first , but you will still see it. In about 5 seconds when your eyes adjust a little, it will appear much brighter. Don't overthink the Tritium color too much. I wanted blue but it was not in stock so I got the green. Now that I see it, it doesn't matter. No one is is going to notice your cool glowing watch when you are out in the evening with friends. Maybe someone next to you in a movie theater might see it. It is certainly functional and cool but not a 'WOW' that others will notice. The clasp feels secure, but I have never found a metal strap that I liked. I need to keep them quite loose or they will snap right off as soon as I carry something heavy. My wrist is 7.5" when relaxed and this band gives a slightly loose fit. It can slide up or down my wrist a bit. Some say that is how it should fit, like a bracelet. I took a link out to try. It still had some slop but then I was back to feeling like it would pop if I tightened my muscles. I put the link back and will try it loose for a while.

This an awesome watch. Granted
This an awesome watch. Granted, the bracelet isn't that great, but the rest of the watch is awesome. I own Luminox and Armourlite tritium watches, and this compares well with both brands. In fact the tritium tubes in this watch are brighter than my other tritium watches. The sapphire crystal is also something I've not seen on a watch in this price range. I'm hard on watches, and I invariably scratch a mineral crystal within a month. I've had this watch a month now and used it backpacking in Northeast India already. Not a single scratch, just as I would expect from real industrial sapphire. The watch is also smaller than typical Luminox models and I like that. My wrist is smaller and bigger watches look a bit oversized on me. This one is a perfect size. The hands are brilliant white, providing very good contrast with the black face. I can read this watch in any lighting situation. I have not gone swimming with this watch yet, but I've dunked it many times while washing hands with no problem. I'm going to buy another of these for my father.

First Impressions
Just recently got this watch. It looks very nice. The face is not "oversized" like many other brands, which I think is a plus. The big white hands and numbers contrast well with the black face so it is easy to read with a glance. The tritium lines glow clearly in the dark with a good intensity, not too bright, not to dark. All number locations and all three watch hands are easily seen in the dark as short lines, from a distance of 12 to 15 inches. If it is so dark that the face and band are not visible at all, the orientation could be unclear since no distinction between the 12 number lines exists.I was able to adjust the band, i.e. remove some links, myself, but it was not all that easy. I could not just push out the pins by hand but had to gently hammer the pin tool rod while holding it aligned against the link pins. Note that the link pins should be removed (pushed out) in the direction of the small arrows on the back of the removable links and replaced in the opposite direction. This is not in the instructions. If you are not good with small tools, take it to a jeweler for band adjustment. There are numerous YouTube videos that can demonstrate band link adjustment and they are mostly similar to this band style. It's too early to conclude the overall quality and performance of this watch (accuracy, battery life, etc) but my first impression is very good. It looks well made and feels sturdy (a bit heavier than many watches this size).
