Well a few months later and it's holding up in my Mini Cooper S. Seemed OEM quality compared to original which basically disintegrated on the water pump side and leaked near housing. Price was great and had the gasket pre-installed along with clip included.Installation tip: Replace o ring on thermostat housing before beginning! I needed a new one from AutoZone. It was stretched and made the job a pain until I figured it out. I thought pipe was defective initially because old tube wasn't as tight after years of abuse and old gasket popped right into old tube. Remove hoses on passenger side and you'll be able to hold tube in water pump with your left hand without removing the entire manifold. And be sure to lube gasket on this pipe/tube too.

Excellent alternative to the expensive OEM MINI (BMW) part.This is a must have when you replace the thermostat on the 2nd Gen MCS. The water pump end of the OEM part WILL FAIL, and replacing it with the thermostat is the best time to prevent failure.

Worked perfectly! Car should be good for another 100K miles!!
