I have been feeding my "little girl" 😻 this food almost all of her life. (We rescued her at 11 months old). When she was less than a year old she had urinary issues and the vet suggested feeding her a urinary health food. I have been a loyal Iams customer for many, many years, so using this formula was not a problem for me. My kitty eats this with no problem. She never has turned her nose up at it, even when we first started feeding it to her. Since we started giving it to her, which has been 6 years now, she's only had a UTI one time. So I think that's a pretty good average. One person mentioned how it made their cat sick, I did buy one bag a few years ago that she absolutely would not eat. And I contacted Iams via email and told them the problem. I did not have the bag anymore because I always store the food in ice cream buckets, but I did happen to have the receipt. They had me email them a copy of the receipt and they emailed me a coupon for a new bag and I just threw away the food that she would not eat. They were very easy to deal with. I keep reading all this stuff about taurine now and how cats are dying because of kidney issues for lack of taurine, so that has been a big concern of mine lately. But upon more research, Iams cat food has the recommended dosage and it has not been "cooked out" of it as they say, so my kitty is getting the full benefits. And also another big benefit of this food is that it has a higher protein count than most other cat foods, including science diet and Royal cannin. I will continue to feed my kitty this food, as I have many cats in the past and heaven forbid when something happens to her, any future cats I have.

I use this food and my cat likes it. It is the most reasonably priced urinary tract food that I know about. Since my cat hasn’t had a reoccurrence for five years, I assume this product has made a difference. I also buy the corresponding wet food and I think my cat appreciates the change up.

Its good, seems to work. Only issue is that it is grain based and my cat has gained weight after switching from grain free to prescription diet to this Iams urinary tract health food, even with portion control feedings. Going back to grain free, hopefully he wont have urine issues again, might have been a one time thing since he was super stressed out when we moved.

My cats love this food, it’s is palatable and pet friendly. It is brown in color and doesn’t have any odor. I have three cats and the oldest is diabetic. This food helps my oldest cat not get UTIs.

My cats love it, strays love it, random neighborhood cats love it. I was feeding strays on my porch, and some of the neighborhood outdoor cats started stopping by. When I switched to cheaper food, they ignored it. The minute I put a bowl of this back out, it was emptied again. A few of my cats even prefer it to wet food. This food literally keeps my cats out of the vet's office. Twice I tried switching to another food, and twice I wound up rushing my cats to the vet with a urinary blockage. I learned my lesson after the second time. They've been eating this for almost 9 years with nary an issue.

Kitty Kitty likes it and lost weight. She was on a prescription diet because another kitten required it. He passed away and Kitty went on Costco cat food. It’s good food at a price I can really appreciate but then she started gaining weight. She was becoming obese with her big swinging pouch of a belly. She also starting going potty not in her litter box. Uh oh. Her diet was switched to this and a urinary non prescription wet food. She looks great! She lost weight. Her eyes appear bright and alert. She is still incredibly soft. She is eating well, enjoys her food (especially if I pet her while she’s eating. She loves to eat with company.) Overall, I feel that the food switch has improved her health and well being.

Last year one of my cats was diagnosed with FLUTD. It took me a long time to find a dry cat food that all the cats in my home liked and was appropriate for the FLUTD cat. Iams urinary formula is the one LOVED by all my cats, both the healthy and sick ones. My cat with FLUTD has not been sick since eating this food. He's the fussiest of them all and he LOVES it. My boys eat this like it is candy so I actually feed it to them as a treat now instead of Temptations. They have another kind of food for their regular diet.
