Not a fan...
Used this 5% in combination, daily, with Infinite Skin's Salicylic Cleanser (which claims to be 15%) and not only didn't I notice any benefits, I also didn't notice any side-effects. Like there just isn't as much of the active ingredient as they claim. And I bought it directly from Infinite Skin, so although it may be false-advertised from the company itself, it's definitely not an imitation from another company. Oh well, Dermalure's 5% Salicylic is cheaper, more pleasant, and many times more ACTUALLY effective

Buy me****
I hate looking for the next "new thing" to try for my acne issue!!! Hoping shi7 works and it almost never does...great just spent a ton of money on crap kinda feeling, I hate that! So I picked up a book by Paula Begoun and she says something to the effect of... salicylic acid, gentle cleanser and a gel moisturizer. Ok ppl my face is pretty picky about what gets put on it and if its no good it tells so. Here, this is what I use, Olay cleanser, this toner you're thinking a bought buying, and every-now and then an AHA moisturizer. Fixed my issue!Unless absolutely necessary plz stay away fromretinol or retin-a or differin trention: use the safer, faster and less expensive glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicyic acid/bha, AHA.

worst product ever!!!
Do not purchase this product it is a waste of money. I give this product 0 stars. I never write reviews but I was so fuming I felt like I had to. this product claims to be 5% salicylc acid and that was absolutely not what I was sent. this purchase was a huge waste of money. I too like another reviewer tried to contact the seller about this situation and got back a return address. I have purchased this product in the past so I know what this product is supposed to do to your skin. This product is supposed to be Salicylic 5% which can be used as a weekly exfoliation treatment for those combating severe oil and acne or as a daily treatment for those who have built up a tolerance to salicylic acid. Clears pores, controls oil, treats and prevents acne, helps to fade hyperpigmentation. This product does not have that. save your money people and just do not purchase this product it will be the biggest waste of time and money. This seller is ripping people off I have already filed a claim. Beware people the seller is bogus!!!!!

... full bottle test and I must say I really like it. I'm back to reorder
I gave this the full bottle test and I must say I really like it. I'm back to reorder. I was searching for a product I could use everyday that had a higher concentration of Salicylic acid beyond just 2% (besides a peel) to replace my glycolic acid toner. Salicylic is much better for clearing out pores than glycolic. It didn't magically cure my mild acne, but that is an ongoing battle I am waging with many products including 20% weekly Salicylic peels, retinoids, and many high end skin care products.I wish it didn't have alcohol, but it definitely does NOT feel like it contains alcohol and never dried me out like drugstore toners that contain alcohol will. All the other ingredients are awesome and exactly what I was looking for in a toner. I even use this under my prescription retinoid every night with no problems.Update: I started using the PC BHA Clear Regular Strength and it's much for effective and hydrating than this toner. This toner never really had the pore clearing ability that I hoped for although it was nice. I came to realize that it has a really stellar mix of ingredients, nice smell, etc but the alcohol really is a negative and it doesn't produce results. I am going to keep using my PC Clear (not greasy like skin perfecting) to keep clearing my pores.

Save your money
This product was probably one of the worst I have ever tried. Should have listen to the reviews I had read. I have acne prone skin and have experimented with several strengths of salicylic toner, this does contain the advertised strength and has already made my skin more blochy and oily. I'm going back to my old toner (neutrogena rapid clear) and recommend it to anyone reading this.

Rubbish
This product is rubbish. It does not feel as though it has 5% salicylic acid in it. It is filled with several other ingredients and the salicylic acid ingredient is way at the bottom of the list. Save your money and buy a different product.

great product working wonders!
i dont usually review my purchases but this is a great one! im usually highly skeptical, particularly about cosmetic products, and have NEVER before purchased one by computer, but a friend recommended 5% salicylic acid toner to me as a supplement to my regular cleansing routine to curb and reverse this very weird and unexpected adult acne thing ive had going on for the past couple of years (yes, thats right..years). and i do not lie to you when i say i have only had this in my possession for about a month and the result has been DRAMATIC. not only did it wipe out blemishes that were starting to show up, but it facilitated almost immediate healing of old breakouts. while there has been some very slight, nearly unnoticeable peeling (not like post-sunburn heavy flaking..nothing like that), the new skin underneath has been smooth and unscarred. i know all skin responds differently and the results may be different for another person but i would definitely recommend trying it. i am crazy ridiculously happy with it and the results.
