Sound quality is average, but could be better, some pluses
I bought these because I wanted a dual headphone and microphone so that I can easily switch from listening to music on my phone to making a voice call, while at the same time moving around. Overall, this headset let's me do that. The positives are that this headphone/microphone has an easy to use button that allows you to skip, rewind, and shuffle music and the user guide is pretty easy to understand if you don't just intuit what to do. Straightforward as well for making calls and answering. My last headset broke because it used easily frayed rubber around the cable, but this headset has a more durable fiber surrounding the cable so it won't need to be replaced for this reason as often. The manufacturer recommends playing your headphones for an initial 40 hours to break them in. I never heard about this before, but good to know. The down side is that the quality of the music is mediocre. It's not bad, but the bass is "shy" and I feel like there is a slightly metallic quality although it could be just my perception and not your experience. I was hoping for the price to have a higher quality sound. Also, I should have looked into whether there was an audio control button directly on the headset, unfortunately no. So if you want to change the volume then you have to use your device. As a runner this can be more cumbersome.

Good for the price. Has some flaws.
.Sound to my untrained ears is also very good. More concerned about the construction and minerals used in these earbuds. As far as I can tell these are of a very high quality. The cord which is a big deal to me as it's always the first to go, has a soft feel to the touch and is tangle free. Best I've ever seen on a set of buds. Here's the bad. The first is my own fault for not checking when I bought these. No volume control on the cord. Yes this is a big deal to me as I'm on the train commuting to and from work. The last thing I want to do is reach into my pocket to turn down the sound when someone. Especially in the winter when I'm all bundled up. It ain't going to happen. Volume control on the cord is a must for a good set of commuter earbuds.Second flew and this is a design flew. the endcaps on the earbuds are a machined turned aluminium. The problem with this is the turned inside is so sharp it rides into your inner ear wall. This could have been fixed easily by rounding off the endcaps.Would I buy these again. No! would I recommend them to someone else. No.

really good until they broke for no reason
I really liked these until the left one crapped out on me. One day I plugged them into my iPod like normal and the sound just wasn't coming through. Nothing had happened to them and they weren't damaged in any way: I keep all my stuff very organized and safe. But since I was originally looking for cloth cable earbuds I am overall happy with them. So given the obvious problem they still lasted me a good year and a half and I'd say I'm happy with my purchase but it'd be nice if they still worked.

Not bad for the price.
Two knocks. First, the pronounced bass over powers the weaker high and mid-range freqs. Second, the selection of rubber tips need to have a better range in size. My ear canal is between the smallest and the next size so there is a little discomfort after 20-30 minutes of listening. I'm still in search of earphones that sound great and don't break the bank!!!!

More Like Ear Duds! Good one, pal.
Argh. You never know what you're going to get with headphones. You can read as many reviews as you want but at the end of the day you end up making an emotional decision based on something far too arbitrary—in this case I thought the buds themselves looked super cool!I've been using them for 3 days and here's what I've noticed:1) They get tangled up more often/easily than any pair of earbuds I've ever owned;2) There is absolutely no low end whatsoever (now, sure, they're earbuds, you can't expect THAT much bass, but even for earbuds these are on the weak side);3) Neither the medium nor the large bud size seems to fit my ear. I've actually never had this problem before. It's hard for me to imagine they're not using the industry standard for Small/Medium/Large bud sizes, but for whatever reason, medium is too small and large is too big for me.My laziness, which I would rate as 5 stars, will likely prevent me from returning these.

Tough Headphones
I bought the brown ones because they were cheaper and the color does not affect the sound. I wanted a tough pair of head phones and these are great. I have laid on these and had them ripped out of my ears and they are still working great. They have brail on the right ear piece so you can put them on in the dark. They work with the iphone. You can FF RW Skip Pause ect. There is not a volume control. I use them to face-time as well and they really cut out on the back ground noise. I am very cheap and I am happy with how much I spent on these (around $55). The sound quality is great for me but I am not any sort of expert.

A very balanced earphone! Must try it.
I a lot of ear phone from Creative, Philips, Bose, Denon but my favorite one is Denon AH-C360. This AF45 is just like the Denon except for it has more bass, and less high. I would recommend the Denon for those who prefer Acoustics, Audiophile. The AF45 is just great for the Pop, rock, new age. But do not pay for over 40 bucks for this.

I loved these earphones but had three faulty items in succession!
The first pair's wire casing was faulty and the wires developed these hard kinks I couldn't get rid of.Replacement sought.Second pair - the microphone had a bad contact, any movement and people I was speaking to on the phone stopped hearing me.Replacement sought - I'll stick to them, the sound is so good.Third pair - exact same fault as second pair. Tested to see if problem was the phone with another set of earphones but no, the problem are the Audiofly. In summary, the build quality control is just not good enough. They sound great but if I keep having problems they're just not worth it.

Really love these - great sound and they have lasted beyond other similar priced earphones so I would get them again. I really like the fabric covered wire, doesn't kink and feels good to the touch, good design means these are visually discreet and function really well

Phones make a horrible noise when walking as the wires rub together (a flaw in the textured cord design). Then within 4-6 weeks of not-intensive use, the jack started getting loose quickly ending up with only one ear working. So, pretty design but pretty dysfunctional = pretty awful. The sound was nice - but there are so many better options given the highly competitive playing field.

Cumplen su función
Buenos, buen sonido, pero el material es algo malo, el borde de los audífonos lastima la oreja, tuve que limarlo para poder usarlo por más de 15 minutos, si no no soportaba el dolor, fuera de eso, buen producto.
