The 4oz bottle does not come with a brush...but other than that i'm very happy with my purchase.Only used it for a week and can alread tell some difference. I have very brettle and pealing nails . Can't wait to start seeing the change..I would recomand you to try it . Was a fast delevery.

So I REALLY thought this might help - hey, if it could work for horses hooves?, right??? No, it peels after a day or two, no matter one, two or three coats. My nails are still so very weak, the still peel and split. And this is after several months worth☹️

I have been using this lacquer for five years, it used to be sold prime, but I still would but it from this seller because it is cheaper and comes just as fast. I loooooove it I like to mix it with Martha Stewart glitters to make my own nail Polish colors, and I also use it in art projects. Other top coats are waaaaaaay too pricey for the amounts that are given. I also purchase the Supernail remover because it works fast, is very gentle, also inexpensive, sold in bulk amounts , and works best . I don't like to pour it into another bottle, I use wooden pusher sticks that are for cuticle pushing, or I use my nail brush kit that is available by numerous sellers on Amazon. Don't pay someone to do your nails when you can but in bulk and not have to worry about infections, waiting in line, or someone talking about smack you in another language. Love this product!

I love this Hoof Lacquer! I have the world's thinnest nails, always peeling and chipping. When I saw the reviews I couldn't believe they could be true. The price is very reasonable, so I decided to order it and give it a try. The first bottle I received had a cracked lid, so I asked for a replacement. As the seller didn't have a replacement lid, they sent a replacement product (they gave me a choice of that or a discount). I do my own manicures at home, and with this product I can do my nails (using some Essie or OPI strength product and color) and then use 1-2 coats of the Hoof Lacquer as the top coats. My manicure last a full week, and looks great without chipping or breaking!Be sure to save a nearly empty nail polish bottle to reflll as this doesn't have an application brush and is too large for normal polishing use.

My nails were always chipping and splitting, and wearing down to the point of being painful! I originally found a bottle of Hoof Lacquer at a drugstore and tried it. I had tried several other products that cost much more - one was a 3 step application process that had to be repeated once a day, then removed after 7 days. It took me hours to get it off! The drugstore quit stocking it, in spite of my requests to the manager, so I looked on Amazon. I love the 4 oz. size- I just refill my original bottle with it, and it lasts for years! It dries quickly too (horses are not very patient, as you can imagine.)

This is a wonder product, however, I only wich it dried to a stronger finish. It dries to a more gentle, malleable finish. It is better to only apply one or two coats, rather than to apply more than that... otherwise it tends to peel off. But, I will continue to purchase this product. It is a great product for cracking and thin nails. But I do wish they had a product with a more hardened coat.

It's a clear nail polish. Nothing particularly special. Honestly, I was hopeful for something thicker and more durable.

My only issue is that it doesn't come with a brush.. I had to go and buy one from Sally's
