Gasket Seal Worked Excellent - However Understand What You Are Doing Before You Start.
Worked well for my Lopi Liberty stove. 7/8" double gasket, was right fit. Advice to seller, add instructions. For the novice would pose a problem as no instructional video exists for this type gasket. Do not use a single layer gasket, must use double gasket on your Lopi woodstove or you will not get proper seal. Watched several videos to get understanding on proper installation. I can fix anything as I am rather good at understanding how things work. But for the average DIY novice, i suggest understanding the process before you attempt replacement.Note: gasket requires seating and good long average fire to cure. At first gasket made door really hard to close, like impossible. But i expected this so was ready to tackle the extra large gasket issue because several videos said to beware of this issue. I resorted to using a rachet strap to get the door closed due to large size double gasket. Placing rachet strap around entire wood stove to get door to latch. After I allowed gasket to seat for four hours I took off straps, then started fire. Now gasket is flat and is a holding a great seal. Burn is excellent. Wish I would have replaced years earlier. I am now a believer that a good door seal saves wood and provides an excellent fire. For $27 dollars this is the best thing I could have done to make my wood stove more efficient. The Lopi Liberty gasket is a double gasket, meaning it has an interior dense gasket and has a thick exterior gasket. I pulled the interior gasket back inside about 1/3" then tucked the exterior gasket into itself. Then pushed the interior gasket out to meet the tuck. Did this on both ends to make a professional joint where the gasket met each end. I wrapped the gasket around door and met each end at the bottom hinge area.I used about a 1/4" bead of adhesive, which was perfect (i have about half of the adhesive tube left over, so do not use to much - less is better). Dry set the gasket first and form into door before applying adhesive. Practice and patience is required. Do not rush, and allow time for adhesive to set about 4 hrs with door in closed position, then start fire. Give yourself time, do not attempt IF you are needing to have fire for warmth in case things go wrong. When I say I used a rachet strap to assist in getting the door closed so it could latch, let me tell you I had those straps really tight. This method worked like a charm, my gasket is installed perfect. I should do a video. Good luck.

Worked on my Classic boiler reaction chamber door.
Worked on my Classic boiler reaction chamber door, for a fraction of the factory cost. Very pleased.

Works great
It took me about an hour to replace the seal then about a day for the adhesive to cure. Most of the time for the repair was spent with a scraper then a wire brush on my drill cleaning up the old adhesive from the previous gasket. Once that was clean the installation of the new gasket took me about 5 minutes. As was suggested by others, I used two ratcheting straps around the stove to squeeze the door shut while the adhesive was curing. That was done in late fall. We have been using our stove almost daily for the winter so far and have had zero problems over the last 2.5 months of use.

I bought the wrong size
This item was exactly as advertised, but I purchased the wrong size so it was unsuable for the project it was bought for. Not the fault of anyone but me. I was told the wrong size by my local wood stove store employee. The product was excellent and exactly as adverticed.

This is NOT a Travis Industries original or equivalent product. It looks to be of lesser quality.
Photo: top gasket is original Lopi stove gasket, lower is this item in review.I used this as a replacement door seal on my Lopi Liberty wood stove. It is the correct size, and I was able to install and achieve an effective door seal. I am concerned that the seal will not be as durable and will erode and fail earlier than the genuine seal that comes installed on the stoves. The seal came with adhesive (high temp. silicone) in the kit that is only rated for 500 degrees F. The manufacturer uses an adhesive that is rated much higher than this. I am certain that during normal use, the area around my door gasket is exposed to temperatures much higher than 500 degrees F. I opted to use Rutland Black high temp stove and gasket cement as adhesive for my door seal. I happened to have a tube on hand and this product is rated to withstand 2000 degrees F.I am somewhat satisfied with this product, and was able to install and achieve an effective seal. I have already ordered a genuine factory replacement seal material because I fear that this material will fail rather quickly.

Does not fit Lopi Revere!!!
Beware! We have a Lopi Revere stove. The description said this should fit and 7/8” is recommended. But this one is much stiffer than others. It isn’t hollow at all. We went to the trouble of gluing and waiting to install it and we could not get the door to close at all! Ended up taking it off and ordering a 3/4” of another brand. What a pain in the you-know-what! Too cut up to return it. Should have read the reviews.
