I Dare You Not to Yawn Board book – 11 April 2017

Book delivered very quickly. Exactly what I was hoping. I expect my Grandson will be yawning by the first page, I think he will love it!!!

After seeing this on CBeebies bedtime story I had to get it for my twin almost two year olds...they LOVE it!! I have to admit I do too..what a great book!

Amazing and funny book kids love it

Slightly repetitive, but for good reason. I challenge you to get through this story without yawning!

Brilliant book. Very funny and manages to make me yawn every time. Can't say the same for the kids though as they enjoy it so much.

I think I know the words to this book off by heart by now, and I have no regrets! As a babysitter it is such a useful tool to have to gently remind the kids that actually they are a bit tired...and maybe going to sleep now does sound like a good idea.... Such a clever book, funny and engaging, and one of the ones I really don't mind reading over and over. Suspect the author is a genius, as the combination of sounds you have to make as you read it make yawning completely unavoidable. I'm starting to yawn now, just thinking about it!

My daughter picked this up in the library today and ask me to read it to her. I’m quite surprised by the good reviews etc as I had to stop reading it half way through as my daughter was looking concerned. There’s some negativity around bedtime in it, and IMHO would encourage a child to fight bedtime AND get anxious about yawning. Maybe older children would enjoy it.

Reader be warned... if you are even a tiny bit tired, you will yawn widely throughout. A great addition to the bedtime genre, especially as kids get older and more independent.

What a gem of a book! Cute story with wonderful illustrations. A must have for your child's collection.

So much fun to read with the kids!

This book is very cute, but I yawn the entire time I'm ready it to my 4 year old....lol She gets to upset about my yawning, she doesn't yawn at all and I am yawning uncontrollably. There are some really cute moments in the book like don't yawn because the next thing you know you'll be putting on jammies, reading a bed time story and you'll find yourself in the bed saying "how did I get here" ..it's cuter in the book, but you get the idea. Great read for bedtime if you can get through it without putting yourself to sleep!! LOL
