Nikon JAA829DA AF-P DX Nikkor 70-300 mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR Lens

Genuine item. Not a grey import. Packaged in original nikon box. Very lightweight (due to lack of a motor).Use it with my D750. Do need to remember to change the settings from FX to DX etc but other than that it's reasonably worthwhile. Image quality is ok for the price. Clear, good zoom, no noticeable colour abnormalities etc. Images definitely not as sharp as with the £800 equivalent Nikon lens but unless photographing for billboards it's unlikely to make much of a difference.Purchased as a last minute addition for a holiday after previous zoom lens broke, thinking I might return it if I found it to be of poor quality - but it's actually good enough, and good enough value (other sellers retailing the same lens at double the price or more) that I'll keep it.

Firstly - I have only been taking photos a month. This is my first camera and this was the first lens I purchased for it (aside from the stock lens that came with it). I am using a D5300 and I am learning as much as I can whilst trying out equipment unfamiliar to me.This lens is an absolute amazing addition to my camera. The image stabilisation is outstanding and the autofocus is fast. The images attached show the wide range of situations this lens can be used in. From birds in flight, lunar shots to near macro photography. All these were in handheld mode.I would highly recommend

Great lens, just bought a Nikon D5300 with 18-55mm lens and was struggling with some shots, looked online and found this 70-300mm at the price of £166 I thought no chance after looking online and finding them for £320 plus. I took a risk and so glad I did, not tested it out proper yet but took some shots in my back garden and all seems well. The only thing I’ve picked up on is that it is not CE marked like my kit lens, not fully sure what implications this may have but great lens

Very pleased with the picture quality and Ease of use. Seems to be a very good lens. This is my first Nikon Camera, very impressed so far with the brand!
