Had to build my trust, but they work exactly as advertised and no bug attraction
I have to leave outside door light on for guests that might arrive at the house at night, and I wanted to get a little more efficient without having to leave them on during the daytime as well. These bulbs worked perfectly for the purpose.I did have to develop that trust though. At first when I put them in during the day they would not turn on, which is the correct operation. Luckily I have 2 porch lamp, so I installed one of these bulbs in one lamp, and left them on. Sure enough the lamp with the Dusk to Dawn Bug Light Bulb turned on when it became dark out, just as designed.I've been a big fan of outdoor bulbs using color that do not attract bugs, and the color of these work as well. Very happy with these.

Just what I was looking for!!
Finally!!! A dusk-to-dawn bug light. I looked for these for months a couple of years ago for my back-porch light. I did not want to go to the trouble of changing the fixture because it is a small space to deal with, but the bugs at my back door were awful. I finally settled for a dusk-to-dawn regular bulb and then found a plastic amber light cover to replace the plastic clear one. It was an ok solution. Now I can use these on my front and back lanterns.

Easy light
I got these for my new outside lanterns which need to be turned on all the time, due to various things being plugged into them. These bulbs are perfect for this application as they turn on and off at dawn and dusk. I love the yellow that keeps the bugs at bay and the fact that I don’t have to turn them on and off. These bulbs are well constructed and will last a long time, plus save energy.

Received 3 and 2 out of three flicker
The one that work was great. The other two flicker for some reason. One of them worked fine. I had to return all 3 for a new set. Will update review if these all 3 work.

A year later...Still Going Stron
Great Light Sensor...keeps bugs away and lights my front porch and patio at dusk. If I'm out a little late I love that I don't have to remember to turn on the porch or patio light.
