Apple MacBook Pro 13" (Early 2015) - Core i5 2.7GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD (Renewed)

I only ordered this yesterday and it has arrived this morning, so I have spent the best part of the day checking it over, and I can only say that up to now I am really pleased with what seemed a bit of a gamble purchase.I have not used Amazon refurbished before, but liked the look of the refurbished Macs at the price they was with a years guarantee. At first I thought Id do some research into where it was coming from, and this was my first fear because mine came from a company called Re-Mac and when I googled them for there own website, it appears to be down and taken over by some scam site. I have to admit that this concerned me somewhat, but I thought that because its backed by Amazon, I would give it a gamble as it was the last one of the spec MacBook that I wanted available, and at a price much cheaper than was available on other websites, and Im glad I gambled.As I said before, it arrived the day after ordering (fantastic from DPD) in good packaging (not original but what can you expect for refurb). There is hardly any scratches on it, apart from a couple on the bottom of the case which is not bad at all. It is clean all over and like new. My biggest surprise was when I checked the battery for how many times it has been charged, as in the pic, it had only been charged once, which tells me its a new battery. Now at first I was slightly concerned at this, as it means it has been opened etc, but when I thought about it, it can only be a win win for me. The screws on the bottom look like they haven't been touched, so its such a good job that's been done, and I can rest easy in the knowledge that the battery is good to go for a full life now. Im a bit of a suspicious buyer at times, so thought id check to see if there was anyway to change the battery cycle count back so it doesn't look old, and no there isn't, the battery cycle count is kept internally as part of the battery so can't be changed. Ya hey... thanks for the new battery (check up the cost of a new replacement. Its not cheap! and isn't apparently covered in the guarantee).The OS is Catilina, the newest and up to date version, so what is there not to like about my new refurb MacBook - nothing at the moment. Thank you Amazon and Re-Mac. I'll try and update this review if things change.

You're a honest organisation with integrity and I recommend them for quality gadgets

The back has so many scratches, the top has a hit near the apple logo, The screen has a scratch though it doesn’t show when its fully working. I bought this because of the reviews I saw but was a little bit disappointed with some of the scratches and hits. Battery health is 90%.

migrated from old mac and use icloud to update old one so now have 2 with same information on so if old mac packs up have a usable computer until repair done i was pleased with the condition of the renewed mac and hope it lasts a long time its a lot cheaper than a new one

This was a really nice machine. A nice job done on reconditioning the machine - it was very much like new. Delighted.

My first Mac great buy

Premetto che ho ordinato il ricondizionato eccellente. Il computer è in ottimo stato e ha uno schermo strepitoso. La tastiera us mi piace moltissimo. Si è riavviato mentre lo configuravo e questo mi ha un po' spaventata, ma tutto funziona. C'è un caricabatterie funzionante e nuovo munito di adattatore italiano. Tenete presente che attualmente (2024) è un modello di 9 anni fa, quindi non fatevi spaventare dalla lentezza. È normale direi. Dopo un aggiornamento ha impiegato dieci minuti ad accendersi, quindi credo che lo terrò spesso in sleep mode. Se questo piccolo compromesso non vi spaventa, ve lo consiglio. Dopo tutto è un mac che costava 360 euro + 40 dell'assicurazione che ho scelto. Merita comunque 5 stelle.

tres tres decue j'avais commande un mac pro etat neuf et des l'allumage du mac une grande fissure est apparue a gauche de l'ecran de plus la coque avec des chocs dessus et en dessous le chargeur tout griffe . Par contre le service Amazon a été au top j’ai retourné mon mac sans probleme

Il computer mi è arrivato come nuovo, perfetto in tutto. Unico neo l'interruzione degli aggiornamenti i quali, non avrebbero garantito una lunga vita ancora al prodotto e pertanto ho dovuto procedere col reso. Amazon ed il venditore ottimi in tutto come sempre .

Il prodotto è buono ma basta guardare un film con un altra finestra aperta per metterlo in difficoltà e far sì che faccia un fastidioso sfarfallio. Anche se si chiude tutto il resto a volte va comunque in sfarfallio.
