Q: I wear 38 ddd - what size will i need?

I wear a 38D and it fits well. Based on that I would recommend at LEAST a 2X.

Q: Does it carry pockets?

No, the one I got did not have pockets

Q: Why can't I find a post surgecal front closure bra 44F, or just regular sports bra in my size

This one is so bad. Look at the zip front ones for sports bras. They're easy to get on and off and they actually work

Q: Does it carry pockets to fit prosthesis?

Sorry, but this particular bra does not have pockets to fit prosthesis. I bought it for breast reduction surgery. There are others that are specifically marked for Post Mastectomy. I hope this helps!
