Quiet water bowl!
I wanted a water dish for my two small dogs (15lb Silky terrier and 5lb Yorker-poo) and had been using a cat fountain, but when it went dry, the motor burnt out and I needed a new bowl. The previous cat fountain had a noisy motor and didn’t hold enough water. This bowl is compact, holds a lot of water and is super quiet. The replacement filters are more expensive than other bowls, but I love the design - the activated charcoal filters are inside the plastic which makes rinsing the hairs/fuzz easy. The pic is of my 4.5lb Yorkie-poo who has no problem reaching the water.

Kinda great..kinda
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have a huge cat group- ATX Cat Punks United- and I like to test things out and share the results with my 2k members. This fountain is pretty awesome according to my cats. 5 stars are from them.. I think it’s kind of cheap feeling and not sure how long it will last. Made in China. I can’t review how easy to clean as I just set it up. The filter is basically two plastic discs with charcoal packs inside. The problem is the packs are like 2 stamps inside the disc instead of an entire filter all around. It’s small and the cats dig it so I’ll keep the 5 stars up..just be aware it like anything else you ordered off of wish..just really fine..kinda..but you are happy with it. 5 starsPablo - ATX Cat Punks United....vocs in WormSuicide

The cats love it but I don’t...
I have 2 of the catit fountain then I got this one because I thought it’s nice to be able to see the water level and after using it for so many months now I really do love that it has a clear container. The cats definitely love this one over the catit fountains but I hate it for the following reasons:1. The filter doesn’t really filter so essentially useless, I don’t even use it anymore.2. The filter consists of 4 rectangular pouches sandwiched in a disc so encapsulated that within less than a week’s use, the pouches are covered in mildew.3. The water container sits in another shell so it’s a pain to disassemble to clean and reassemble.4. There are so many components to clean and they all have so many small nooks n crannies, all are mildew breeding ground! I had to buy a whole set of brushes to effectively clean the unit.5. Since the filter doesn’t work but the cats love this fountain, I have to clean it at least twice a week. They definitely drink a lot more water because of this fountain so as painful as it is to clean this thing 2-3 times a week, I have to just suck it up...

Cats love it, but it's a little tall
Our cats are drinking a lot more water since we bought this. The vet says that it is because they like the water to be oxygenated. With the charcoal filter we know that they are getting the cleanest possible water. My only complaint is that it is a little tall so it might not work for small cats very well.

Quiet, Easy to set up, Cat loves it!
Our kiddo had recently taken to drinking out of our water glasses after her clay pottery dish was broken. I came across some recommendations by vets to get a cat fountain and started looking around. Most fountains have the water coming out of a "spout" as the top and dropping into a base filled with water. Friends of ours have one like that and the pump is extremely noisy and it sounds like water is running all the time. Not this one! IT IS QUIET! Keep in mind there are 3 or 4 settings on the pump, I set ours on #2.We've had this going on 2 weeks now. So far so good. As to the filters - I don't know yet.Things to know:Unpacking and getting it ready to use:Remember how you took it apart - The pieces will fit back together in an exact order. Don't remove the white plastic piece where the plug drops into the "water bowl" It took me a bit of fighting to get it back on. If you forget they have them laid on the first page of the owners manual. The pump has suction cups on the feet - make sure the "bowl" is dry when you put it back in. Adjust the pump speed - There are 3 or 4 "speed" settings on the pump that sits inside the bowl - this is difficult to adjust once you have everything back together as it is hidden and you have to take everything apart again. The first setting was way to low, barely moved the water. The next setting seems to be just right, I tried it on the third, it was louder and seemed to push the water through to fast.Rinse everything and put it all back together. This takes 4 or 5 tall glasses of water to fill it.Train your cat with snacks / treats. Put them right next to it and voila - Cat trained to drink from the fountain. As I stated, this is quiet so it shouldn't scare kiddo away.***Updated 07/01/2019****Product is still working well. I tend to take it apart to clean it every 3 or 4 days to make sure the motor doesn't get clogged, plus with warmer weather now, I want to make sure there is no "bad stuff" growing.I downgraded from 5 star to star because of the Filter!!!!Let's talk about being environmentally friendly - these filters are not!If I can see how something works I take it apart. It wasn't easy to get one of these filters apart the first time, there are few clips holding it in...about 7 or so.... that you need to press pretty hard on the clips to get it apart - there was blood :).After getting the plastic filter apart I was a bit surprised - there were only 4 small square pads inside. I was expecting a heavy duty round filter the way it was built. Along with taking this fountain apart every 3 days - usually every other time I take the plastic filter apart (it's easier now that I have it apart a few times) and rinse the charcoal pods until they don't feel slimy then I put it back together. My question to this company or Carno - I don't care whose name is on the front it's the same product - Why not make a round filter holder that holds a round charcoal filter pack that would fit inside the round plastic filter protector. Then, make it easy to get it apart and just replace the filter inside the filter protector? Dumb question I know....

Terrible design flaw
This isn’t really a filtering system at all. Those tiny filters are not able to do anything. The water just goes around the filters, taking the path of least resistance. It’s just as noisy as any other filter system we’ve tried and no easier to maintain but the worst as far as doing anything to help keep the water clean. After a few days none of the animals will drink from it and I don’t blame them. The only good feature is the water level window and full line indicator. Also, when filling the tank it spills VERY easily- you must pour very slowly and don’t move it at all.

Now my cat makes that *ah* sound after every drink like a Pepsi commercial
Do you own a cat that your child mistakes for a camel? This product was the perfect way to bridge the gap between the water our cat needs to drink and the number of times his child caretaker decides to refill water. Easy to set up, the cat was perturbed for maybe five seconds before he started using it, easy to clean.

Cats are obsessed!
My cats have had lots of fountains, dripping ones, dribbling ones, waterfall style etc, this is by far their favorite, I am filling it constantly because they are drinking so much! They seem to like the gentle motion of the water pool at the top, the design is great and it is very compact, it sits easily on our bathroom counter and is nearly silent!
