Fit perfectly on my 2015 Silverado 5.3l and installed easy by myself. I pulled the stock muffler assembly as a whole piece which took the longest, definitely have to drop the spare tire down but no need to complete remove. I've had this on for about a year now and it has become louder over time. Probably wakes the neighbors up in the morning, is noticeable when on the accelerator pedal but quiets nicely when cruising. Don't hear it when the music is on low or when conversing. You can tell when its in v4, no helicoptor but sounds like the truck is struggling. When v8 kicks in, back to perfect. If sound is what you seek, this is it.2 Year Update:I recently tuned v4 out which has eliminated the only gripe I had about the exhaust; the noticeable switch from 8 to 4 and back. Truck continues to sound great and don’t regret getting the atak. I’ve checked the connections and all remain tight, no issues with quality to date.3 Year Update:No issues with the exhaust. Continue to enjoy the sound and do not regret the purchase.4-5 Year Update:Still no quality issues, sounds great. Wakes the kids up leaving for work making mama unhappy. I’m getting old.

Not many reviews recently and cheaper than everyone = sketchy buy… Bought and delivered in two days, in an authentic Borla package. Extremely good packaging, no issues at all. Installed in 2ish hours , old exhaust was a pain to get off, Borla went on beautifully. Sounds phenomenal I love it , very good purchase worth the money boys!

Couldn't be happier with this exhaust. Had a really hard time deciding between S Type and ATAK. ATAK is not as loud as some YouTube videos make it seem (probably because cameras were right next to pipes), but is still plenty loud, especially at cold start. I had local muffler shop install for $125 - mechanic confirmed this was easy to install and one of the nicest kits he's seen. Mild drone in V4 mode, but you will not notice after a couple weeks (or if radio is at moderate level or during discussion). Would have likely been unhappy with S-Type loudness. If you're on the fence like I was, choose ATAK.

The exhaust is great. But I was bummed to find that the muffler had a huge dent in it when I opened it and pulled it out of the box. But I wasn’t going to wait for a replacement and it’s under the truck anyway. The only part that sucked was it did not come with the hardware to mount the provided driver side hanger. Aside from the little things, the exhaust sounds phenomenal and looks great with the polished chrome tips.

No idea how but the muffler in the box I received (part#140546) says "S-Type"! Guess I'll have to return it and hopefully get the right one!

So glad I went with this system. Aggressive, but not too loud, quite in the cab. Can hear a difference when the 4 cylinder kicks in, but no drone, and still quite. This along with a CAI has my 5.3 running like it should be. Better shifts, no more lag or slow up shifts around corners. Love this exhaust. Can't comment on install, paid my local shop to hang it for me.

Absolutely love this exhaust on my 18 Silverado. Deep and throaty with almost no drone at highway speeds. Really easy finding my truck in a parking lot using the remote start for sure!Installation was not difficult at all, took about 90 min in the driveway. Hardest part was removing the stock exhaust without having the truck in the air.

Perfect easy install on my 2016 Silverado. It sounds like a real truck now and not annoying loud especially when underway driving. Very pleased with the Borla Atak
