Great quality
Amazing! Went on smoothly, dried quickly, holding up great. I bought a pair of Nike shoes from Goodwill. I do this often to use as work shoes since I don’t like to pay full price for work sneakers when I will then just step in a patient’s bodily fluids in them. While washing these five dollar second hand shoes, imagine my surprise when as I scrubbed, my hands turned black because the previous owner had colored the sides of the white soles with a black marker. I had no idea until they were submerged in water. I tried unsuccessfully to fill in the missing black smeared parts with sharpie until googling to find this product. I thought this was going to be a DIY disaster, but this marker went on smoothly to color in the sides of the soles. They look exactly like they did when I bought them. It looks like the soles were black to begin with. I got so excited that I went through all of my other running shoes to see if any of them needed a black trim touchup. The stuff goes on like a dream and is pretty fool proof. Even for me.

Great Product!!!
The midsole marker is fantastic — it worked exactly as described, and I’m really happy with the results. I used it on my Adidas, which have SoftFoam on the bottom, and after finishing the first shoe I was genuinely surprised by how clean and sharp it looked. Check out the photos and video below. I’ll definitely be buying this again.

Nice
From one pen i was able to do both midsoles. This pair is size 10.5 men's. About 2 and a half coats. I'm happy with the results and gives another life to this pair. The boost was yellowing and minor scuffs really ages the shoe. I still have some left over but not sure how much. I like how the back of the pen can be screwed off, so if you really want to be precise, you could use a small paint brush or q tip to get into the finer details. The con is they should have different sized tips included. The tip kinda got worn out and started losing shape, therefore losing accuracy where i wanted the paint. Time will tell how it holds up but as is now I'm impressed and would buy again in the future.

Very happy with it!
I have tried 2 other "shoe markers". One looked like I used sharpie, the other scraped off with the slightest touch. Both came off easily with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush. This product only took 2 coats. Probably could have gotten away with one but I'm a nut. Here is what I see so far: Application- coated very thick and more like a stain or dye than paint. Dried fairly quickly but waited 24 hrs before touching it. The look. Very impressive. From a distance you can't tell it isn't actually black rubber. In most light the sheen is an exact match. At some angles it is a bit more glossy. Other- Have not yet worn them to test durability, but my initial finger nail scratch test passed with flying colors. The first 2 products I tried marked up instantly. This seems to be much more durable.

A love hate relationship with it
I ordered a pair of Volatile sneakers on Ebay. Why their description is impossible to see, and not a part of the actual description section, is beyond me. But I digress. I ended up ordering a pair of brown (gag) shoes. Everything i own is black. I think i have maaaaaybe one brown shirt, maybe. So I searched Amazon for something to help me change my new shoes and quick! I came across this marker to change the sole color. I liked how it was a paint type marker, but because Volatile shoes have a foam sole, I struggled. I couldn't just slide the marker back and forth as intended, I had to hold the tip down, let the paint come out, and swipe it across with my finger. Pretty tedious. Once I got to the rubber part, it went by MUCH quicker and easier. I ordered for overnight I believe. Either way, it arrived on Halloween. I needed then for the following day, Saturday. Application was simple enough, I also had to do the suede which was an ordeal. My only problem is when I stepped off my porch the next day. I almost busted my s***. My rubbery tread was no more. This made my tread feel like hard plastic. I was legit slipping on CONCRETE. Zero grip, zero traction. It was the equivalent of wearing high heels on frozen ground. I tried to rub the bottoms on the rocky part of my driveway, trying to get a little traction back. They sounded like clunky high heels. For anyone who isn't familiar with Volatile shoes, they're sole is foam with a rubber tread at the bottom. They're VERY lightweight platform sneakers. I have multiple pairs, and have never had a problem. Its not this specific pair, when I tried them off the day before Halloween, I had no problem. I did like the color, the ease of application, and that it arrived right when I needed it. But I'm not happy with it turning my shoes into ice skates. If you dont need to do the bottom tread, you're golden! But they will stiffen up and feel different, so keep that in mind

Worked GREAT!
Worked great on my multicolored sandals. I put on 3 coats but didn't want to put on another coat, you can barely see the colors and no one is going to look that closely. They remained flexible. Had to order another pen, the fabric absorbed a lot.

Scuffs right back off soles too easily.
I had high hopes for this product, but I have to go against the majority star ratings of it I guess, as it didn't work the best for me at least. I used it on the sides of the shoe soles over some of the white, but it doesn't really stick to the soles real long, maybe I needed some unknown additional prep to make it work better?? It took, a few coats to make progress, and I went by the instructions for dry times between and final dry time as well... it didn't seem to matter though, as the very first time FINALLY wearing them out, I would up with various areas of it scuffed back off to show the white again, and I wasn't even being rough with the shoes (they were bran-new shoes, not yet worn outside). So I guess if anything, if a person changes their mind on the looks of what they blacked out on the soles at least, it seems to come back off pretty easily. I think adhesion of this could be much better, maybe a different product all together to achieve what I'm after, bummer :(

Great product. I got this for repainting my Jordans with faded or peeling paint. It worked awesome. The tip helped tremendously with the small details. And you press on the tip for more paint flow when needed, which helps control the flow. I'd recommend this product because I'd buy it again if i needed more without hesitation.

I’d tried washing my favorite Lacoste sneakers, I then tried anti-oxidants but nothing worked to de-taint the yellow aging midsoles. Until this wonderful white marker made it so simple to restore my middle aged loafers to their youthful prime. Just mask the upper, press the nib and a few coats later, well take a look!! The bottom is the old colour, the sides are the brand spanking new. And the pen should be good for two more pairs. Job done!
