GlengettieTea Bags 80 per pack - Pack of 2

I didn’t know Wales had its own tea until I found it on Amazon. Can’t brew it in Welch water of course but it didn’t disappoint me me one bit. It has a strong rich flavor and is a great morning wake-up tea instead of coffee. At its current cost on Amazon it is also a very good value. A nice bold black tea in the English tradition. If this sounds good to you, give it a try and it just may become your favorite.

I first discovered Glengettie Tea when I went back to Maine for a visit at Freeport at the British Goods Store. Since I'm Welsh, I just had to try this tea.... I was not disappointed at all with the flavor. After about running out of tea bags, I thought I would see if Amazon sold this product, and to my surprise they do!!! I love the taste of Glengettie Tea, and will make it my number one hot drink of the day..

Having been a resident of Canada and a visitor to Ireland, Scotland and the UK over several decades I have become a daily tea drinker, both morning and afternoon. I drink black tea with some milk as most do in the regions I just mentioned. I do love Canadian brand teas but for some reason they are not easily available to the stars and stripes side of the border. But some of the finest teas from Ireland and the UK are indeed available. My favorites have been and continue to be Yorkshire Gold and Barry's Classic Blend but now right along side of them is one of my new favorites, Glengettie with a lovely rich and strong taste-just be sure to steep it around 5 minutes.

These are great tea bags. Great flavor, I brew very large cups and the flavor doesn't go acidic or sour it stays bold. I am definitely getting more of these.

Excellent morning tea at a good price.

I was first introduced to this product by a clerk in a small store on the Oregon coast. She didn't carry the tea I usually purchase and I definitely needed some tea (a real tea-aholic here). I decided to try it. Am I glad I did! This is a lovely tea with a full-body taste. I use it for iced tea mostly, but it is also good for hot tea.The packaging: two foil packages of 40 round, single bags. The bags are not individually sealed in foil. It does not affect the taste or freshness from what I can tell. Try it if you like a strong black tea - I think you will like it.

I love very strong morning tea to which I add milk. While I have come across some good strong morining teas from England, India and Ireland, this one from Wales leaves them all in the dust, without being harsh

I purchased this tea when I lived in St. Louis from an store that sold food items from around the world for just over $5.00 a box. It was the Glengetti e Gold that I preferred, but this has been discontinued. Not sure why as many people seemed to enjoy it and other tea companies offer a Gold tea.I mix this tea with Barry's Gold tea, and the taste is good.Oh. One thing I noticed is that when opening the foil bag, there was an odour like chemical. I think it is because of the tea bag itself. My other tea bags do not have such an odour.
