Voodoo Pair of Car Audio 4 Gauge to 8 Gauge Amp Input Reducers

Fits the 4 ga perfectly, the 8 ga end was a great fit into the terminal on my amp....however....the set screw would not thread back in because it was so tight. I ended up drilling a small hole on the flat side to allow the set screw to seat.

I wanted to use a 4 gauge ground wire for my amps since I was using a ground shunt bar to monitor the current draw but the 8 gauge side did not fit in the terminal that does fit an 8 gauge wire. Therefore I could not use. I had to just trim the 4 gauge wire down to fit the amp. The product does appear to be good quality other than not fitting in the amp.

the screw stripped the first day. Never even used them.

My system is just 600W RMS currently so no need to check for anything fancy, like copper reducers or anything. This does the job fine to prevent wire trimming as my amp doesnt quite take 4GA wire. Should have gotten sooner.

worked fine for testing an amp that wouldn't take larger power, and ground. I would of liked to see the screw pushing a part of the internal collar so you're not just screwing into a small section on cable vs. clamping.
