Keep things fresh!
I love this book. It is a master class in creatively expressing love. Lots of simple ideas with big impact as well as extravagant ideas to save and plan for. There are some traditional gender constructs, but also opportunities to switch it up (i.e. give him flowers) — I love that it encourages women to romance their men, and not just with sex. This book has helped me come up with ways to show my husband I appreciate him that are true and unique to our relationship. We’ve been married 8 years and have a couple of kids and just reading a few pages made me excited to keep getting to know him. The book is easy to read and I like to keep it handy to keep things fresh and fun and romantic.

Best book on being romantic than the FEW others I have ever bought.
I bought this book back in 2017. I love how the ideas are endless and how simple they can be. A lot are very inexpensive, if not free (you just have to take the time). I've used this book since 2017 and just purchased a second copy for my boyfriend. I write notes in my book and felt he just needed his own. I recommend this book to everyone.

Delightful
Delightful. At first I portioned out the reading to one screen per day. But this week I pulled out the stops and finished the last 1/3 of the book. The last third was more delightful. The book may have gotten better toward the end, or it might be that going through it quicker I absorbed more of it.#100 Romantics have their priorities straight. What are your priorities? What I mean is, what are your true priorities? In other words, how do you spend your time? How you spend your time reflects your true priorities. (Most people claim that home and family are most important to them, but their actions don’t reflect this.) Living a life full of love is about getting your actions into alignment with your beliefs.

1001 Ways to be Romantic
I am a little bit torn in reviewing this book. It is certainly not a bad book; it is just not quite what I hoped it would be. I sat down to read it with a highlighter in hand, so that I could mark the ideas that I wanted to try later. For having 1001 ideas inside, I didn't mark very many.In reading through the book, I was left with the impression that the author was trying to come up with a huge volume of ideas without thinking about quality so much. That is not to say that there aren't good ideas inside; there certainly are. You just need to be prepared to do a bit of digging to find them. That having been said, I did find a few sweet surprises to use with the one I love. The first one that I want to try is idea 283 under "The Calculus of Love." I know math and romance seem like an odd combination, but I do think that this idea would result in many lovely memories. (I am not sure if listing the actual idea would be a violation of copyright, so I am erring on the side of caution.) I will say that it involves a road trip close to home.I am glad that I bought the book and I will probably end up using more than just the one idea listed above. You may want to check this out from the library before trying to track down a used copy somewhere. It is worth taking a look. WIth the shear volume of ideas, there is bound to be something for everyone.

Fantastic book!
I already had a copy of the 2nd edition but I bought this as a bridal shower gift for a friend who loves all books. The ideas are very creative and although I rarely did something exactly as written, it gave me ideas and inspiration to create my own ideas! The author's wife Karyn Buxman is an International Laughter Specialist and a Registered Nurse. She has spoken to my nursing class at Mizzou twice now (the last visit was just a couple days ago) and is fantastic! She is the reason I found out about this book in the first place! Excellent and I highly recommend it!
