This piece worked perfectly to fit onto the Intex sand filter pump along with a 3 way diverter and a universal hose adapter to convert a summer waves elite pool away from their tiny pump to the sand filter. The sand filter was so strong that it was crushing the vacuum cap when in use. This setup works way better and would not be possible without this key part. It’s thick, durable and tough feeling. No leaks or problems after a month so far.
