Saxon Math 6/5: Homeschool- Solutions Manual, 3rd Edition

Saxon isn't my favorite curriculum, but it's solid. There are no holes like with other curricula, and I've been told by testers that kids using this score the highest on End of Grade Testing. I like how the homeschool solutions manual shows how to work out the problems. The only issue I have is that the Saxon book doesn't always line up with the solutions manual. That's not the manufacture's fault, but mine for not paying attention to editions. :) It's easily bypassed, though. Planning on using this for the rest of our homeschool years.

If you home school you don't want to spend time doing the math to check your kid's work. So get the solutions manual and see the answers. It also shows each problem worked out so you can help your student understand where they made a mistake. I don't know about you but it's been a long time since I attended school so having all this lined out for me sure helps

We use nothing but Saxon Math easy for the student and parent.

Delivered in perfect condition. I use it to check my son's homework.

Love the Saxon Math curriculum. It does get a little mundane at the end, but practice makes perfect.

Saxon Math is good stuff. Saxon was not my first choice. I like the circular teaching for younger ages, but once my girls get into Algebra, I will be switching.

This came a little earlier than expected. It has all the answers to the text version and also the tests and worksheets. So it works out really well.

Beware doesnt line up with the older blue text books completely, but you can get most solutions to the problem using common sense, sums might be reversed. Seems like a very simple slow curiculum ,son does like the speed tests though. using Math Mammoth as our primary curiculum since jk going back to that and incorporating speed tests (warm ups).
