Works good, eats up the “you know what”, just let it sit and let it do its thing.

I haven't cleaned my black tank in 6 years, because we only pee in it. But there wasa lot of limestone build up and I wasn't sure if this product would get rid of it.It certainly did! I left it in the tank for a week and it was completely clean again.

Tank smells are gone

I am on the fence about this product. It has many rave reviews. I used the entire bottle, per the directions, in an empty tank. It did quite well with odor control during its cycle. When I dumped the tank, which I waited on until it was completely full, I "thought" I may have seen a few more chunks than normal going out. It did absolutely nothing for my tank sensors, though, so I'm pretty disappointed with that. My rig remained stationary during the entire tank cycle, so I'm sure that didn't help.Bottom line: Not good enough performance to justify the high price.

This product worked well. Only had to use one application to help clear the tank. I followed up at the end of this season with the Unique sensor cleaner. It took two applications but my black tank sensors are now working, something that has not happened since I bought the camper 3 years ago following the camper's first camping trip.

For some reason, after over 10 years fulltiming in out motorhome, the black tank sprayer suddenly developed severely reduced flow. I verified the backflow value is working fine and the problem must be a clog in the sprayers into the tank.Swizzle stick didn't help at all. Air pressure (over 100 psi) didn't help. Long soaks with clean water didn't help.I've done 2 treatments with this as well as at least 1 more with vinegar (2.5 gallons of 6% in 40 gallon tank). Each treatment helped some. But it still is about 50% reduced flow from original. I plan another vinegar treatment next at a higher concentration. Then if necessary, maybe we'll try a professional high pressure tank cleaning.Doing this is difficult only because we live in it and the wife is not pleased with a full black tank for several days of treatment.There may be some improvement with a sensor problem, but unsure at this point. Time will tell.Followup, several months later (October). I did a 3 day vinegar treatment about 1 month ago. It was about 6 gallons of 6% vinegar and then about 34 gallons of water added to fill the tank. If anything, it made the sprayer flow restriction worse; but it did seem to clear up a sensor problem I had, whereas nothing else has helped it; so it must have been mineral deposits.So, then I called to have a high pressure tank cleaning. The tech told me right off that it would be very unlikely to fix the spray nozzle problem. He was right; it didn't. He did say that he got a noticeable amount of brown stuff out that was stuck to the walls of the black tank. Since I've done two full treatments with this product within the last 4 months or so, I'm disappointed that there were stuck sediments (I've been using their RV Digest-it product in the meantime).But the tech told me that the way to solve the clogged sprayer is to use CLR and put it into a hose feeding the sprayer. I used most of one bottle (28 oz) of CLR (< $6) on repeated treatments over several hours and it's fixed. It's better than I ever remember it in terms of how quickly it fills the tank. The method was to have a short length (just a few feet) of garden hose attached to the spray inlet, with the end a little higher than the backflow valve inside the coach wall and pour CLR into the hose until it fills and let it sit for a bit; connect a hose to it and push it through a bit and repeat.

We live full time in our 5th wheel in AZ and had a terrible sewer smell come up with the ridiculous hot summer. We tried draining the tank, other treatments and we were miserable. I treated our GREY tank with this product as a last resort. We did not have a clog but nothing was working. It fixed the issue almost immediately. There was a clear reduction in the odor and in the morning the smell was gone...I honestly cannot recommend this product enough. I purchased more and it will be my regular rotation of trailer maintenance.

This product works GREAT! Cleared "pyramid" (you know which one I'm talking about) in the black tank first treatment! The product was packaged well and received quickly. Before the promised date! I was loyal to another brand, but they're no longer permitted in California and I thought it was the best I could get. Since their "Unique Tank Cleaner Liquid for RV and Boat Black Holding Tanks 32 oz. - Unclogs RV Holding Tanks, Breaks Through Pyramid Plugs - 41H-1" worked so well, I've tried their daily/regular use product. And, I have to say, I'm now loyal to Unique! THEIR PRODUCTS WORK BETTER! If Unique says their products will do something... their products do it!

We had a completely full black water tank that would not drain at all..used this product with some warm water to activate it..let is sit..on day 3 nothing..day 4 we got some water. Put in a second bottle..waited 3 days..tank completely drained..everything was emusified and drained great..we flushed the tank with a blaster wand and water until nothing but clear water came out. What a relief.

This product seems fairly decent. That said, my sensors were still blocked even after doing a thorough cleaning. I let the product sit in my black tanks for three days straight. After dumping the tank, I used a wand to thoroughly rinse the inside of the tank yet the black tank sensors were still blocked. I would’ve thought that the sensors would have been cleaned off properly. I’m sure it actually does a good job of cleaning out the tank, because I saw lotta gunk come out. However, the price point is still quite high.

Worked as advertised but didn’t solve the problem which is why I KNOW it works. Problem was an original hole saw cut out left in the tank by a lazy installer. Had pumped out through deck fitting and had to do a ‘manual exam’. Yikes. Nothing in the tank but the metal disc acting like a flapper seal over the pump out pipe intake

We bought a used RV and found that the black tank was not cleaned properly. We used the cleaner as instructed and it cleaned the tank out to only clear water coming from it. Good value for the cost.
