this is a great valve but uses "G" type threads (straight BSPP)
I love this valve, and i was aware that I needed to use a convertor at the base of the valve to change from the FIP 1/2" (NPT taper thread) used by the copper pipes to allow this G 1/2" (straight BSPP thread) valve to mount properly without a thread conflict. Most people don't understand the difference between parallel (straight) and tapered threads and return this valve thinking it is defective, it is not!. It uses the world wide (except in USA) standard of BSPP for water pipes. As for the actual valve, it is beautiful and I really like the 1/4 turn On/Off feature for quick actuation

Defective faucets, 3 out 8 failed during installation
Plumber said the product is not good, 3 out of 8 failed during installation.I ended up with one bathroom sink having 2 different kinds of stop valve. Since I ended up with just 5 good ones.

Really beautiful heavy valves
Gorgeous finish and smooth all metal operation. Heavy.Quarter turn on/off.Note that they use the European/rest of world connection thread so you will need an adapter to go to US standard NPT threads.
