This battery is a perfect match for my Dell Studio laptop. It arrived quickly, looks & specs are exactly like the OEM battery (minus the Dell brand), fitment is perfect, and works great. It was priced right and arrived quickly. Doesn't get any better than this. 5 stars.

I purchased this about a year ago thinking it would power my laptop for only 30 minutes and figured it would go bad in no time. To my surprise, this battery is very good. It keeps my 17" laptop going longer than the original battery. For 30 bucks this was a tremendous deal. Can't say enough. Thanks for the surprise deal.

Do your research carefully to match the relevant specs. This fit my Dell laptop and appears exactly the same size and specs as previous original battery. I don’t typically use it on battery, but after a decade the computer was sending lots of warnings and hesitant to even boot up. It was time, fortunately this was a cheap bit of maintenance.

Battery easily fit in computer but failed to hold a charge. Attempted to charge with an external charger without success. Returned the unit ,awaiting replacement. Update: Replacment provided quickly, works perfectly.

I was concerned if this battery would fit because the price was so affordable. I received it and it was a perfect fit. I had searched Dell a couple years ago for a replacement, but couldn't get one directly from Dell. I am so glad these 3rd party batteries are available because I really liked my computer!

Since DELL no longer offers this battery (and for years no one else did) this is a great product for a still very productive computer. For safety and security we all know that BIOS updating is crucial - but without a working battery this could not be done on my Dell Studio 1749, leaving me vulnerable. Thankfully, this product solved that problem and with the BIOS updated the performance of my machine has improved as well. Battery fits perfectly! I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this to replace the very old battery on my Dell Studio 1747 Laptop. All indications were that the new battery was working OK. About a month ago I unplugged from the external power supply to do some work. Within seconds the laptop shut down. Re-booted and the computer started up, but it shut down before the sign on screen came up. Hooked the charger/power supply back up to the battery and got a blinking light, but the computer did not continue. Re-booted with the power supply plugged in and the computer came back up. The Dell battery utility shows the battery fully charged and no issues with it. I shut down the computer, unplugged the power supply and tried to re-boot. Computer got through the boot sequence and opened the sign-on page then immediately shut down. I'm back to using the original battery which only charges to 80+% and only has about 30 minutes of useful use unplugged, but at least it works.

This is the second battery that has been purchased through Amazon for this lightly used 10 year old computer. Thanks to this new battery and maintenance programs, the computer is still running extremely well despite its age. It will allow the family to wait until the next wave of either laptops or desktops to come on board.
