Pearl Glam Beautyberry (Callicarpa) Live Shrub, Dark Purple Foliage and Violet-Purple Berries, 1 Gallon

The plant was in beautiful condition when it arrived. Soil was moist, it was very healthy. I was very hesitant to order a live plant, but was really amazed at how big and beautiful it is. I will be ordering more!

Very vigorous. Actually delivered on Friday in my mailbox and I didn't take it out till Monday. Plant responded to a little TLC and was looking great thereafter. fast growing. Maybe just my time of year as this came early August.

Delivery was quick, packaging was great, and the plant was healthy and growing nicely.

The root ball is about the size of a fist but it sure was a healthy little guy. Even middle of 100 degree heat it's growing well with daily watering. only 1 leaf shows stress from the transplant.

I was initially hesistant about buying a plant online - let me say that first of all. My reason for buying it on amazon was, I knew my local nursery would probably be out of stock , or the stock they did have would have been from long ago and the plans would probably be in rough shape. This plant was one I didn't see in many places, and I trusted the proven winners brand. Well the plant arrived wonderfully in a great box and well protected, the box had stamped all over it, that it was live plants to it was carefully delivered. My plant is happy, I'm happy and the birds will be happy as well with the berries they'll get. note - it may not have berries right away , but probably next season (it needs to establish).

Arrived almost a month late, dried out, all leaves had fallen off and I was left with dry little twigs. They wouldn't let me get another plant when I thought this was would not come in. However, after it finally arrived I've been nursing it back to health and the bottom of the plant is full of healthy green foliage, but I definitely won't be getting any berries this year! The top 3/4 of the plant are still void of life. To be fair, my other Proven Winners orders from Amazon came in very healthy. Guess it was bad luck for this one!

I was very pleased with the quality of the plant that was shipped to me. First, the shipping container was just right. Not too much packaging, but enough to hold a full gallon plant in place and keep dirt and moisture in where it was supposed to be. Plant arrived in good shape. I immediately took it out of the box and any effects from being in a dark cramped box evaporated in a matter of hours. The plants branches "refluffed" out and it had a good shape. Being the gardener I am, I even checked the root structure when I repotted the plant. It was perfectly healthy. No circling roots - so it hadn't been sitting somewhere too long or too short a time. I was nervous about buying a plant off Amazon as I usually order only from known nurseries. But the price and the quality of the plant has sold me. Proven Winners has proven to me that they care about the quality of what they ship.

Arrived in great condition. So far it seems to be doing well!
