Excellent replacement option with the nifty benefits of seeing who or what is behind your rig. Plus when hooking up a trailer the camera is manually adjustable. No more blindness and multiple set the parking brake, jump out, walk back to see the trailer only to find it is two inches too far or one cm too... “that way.” Very cool.The screen quality is great for the price and for my intended purpose; SAFETY. And the mirror itself? Wow!The only time I can see the outline of the screen when the camera is off is when I look intently for it, so there’s no distractions when glancing in the mirror for normal defense driving. The instructions that come with the product are... nothing very helpful, yet the wire diagram on the amazon product advertisement page makes up for it (print that image!) Still unclear what the extra connection at the mirror assembly is for (not stated anywhere). My guess is a possible secondary input camera or the like.

Item comes with vague directions? They need more directions for wiring installation? Other than that it's priced low! Works Good! Wired rear RCA jack small red wire to backup light circuit (wire) and ran black ground wire to frame. Hooked small red wire in the front of mirror and like other review said did nothing with the black ground wire and it still worked fine! I did seal tip of ground wire at mirror with shrink tubing. OVER ALL GREAT ADDITION TO MY TRUCK! NO MORE GETTING IN AND OUT TO HOOK TRAILER UP!!!! NIIIICCCEEE!
