Nice little pen, good fun!
This 3D pen would make a great gift.The instruction booklet covers all the basics of how to use the pen, but ideally could include a little more detail. Each main part is broken down, so turning on, achieving correct temperature, feeding filament, and so on...The pen comes with a variety of colours, and some great templates to draw. Does take a bit of practice but full of fun once you get going!Overall, it does what it says, and is good fun for kids (and adults), no complaints.We made a decent little circular shape on first attempt!

My kids absolutely love it. It takes drawing to another level. They just can't stop playing with it. Various colours are provided with templates too. My son is currently trying to build a ferrari and a mansion. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to make a special surprise. I just wish we had these when we were younger!

Fun Present
Got this for my Nephew for their birthday, wanted to try and get something unique and quirky.This ticks those boxes, she's had a lot of fun creating things and at first, even when I helped set it up it's a bit of an odd sensation drawing in 3D.There's quite a lot of included plastic to get through. I haven't looked into the price of more, but I expect it shouldn't be more than a couple of pounds.The OLED screen on the main device is clear and pretty easy to understand, along with the buttons on the side - they are located where your fingers rest naturally. That said, they're slightly mushy so I hope they don't break over time.I wasn't quite aware of just how hot the tip actually got so I would definitely advise against touching it as you'll most likely burn yourself.The box it arrives in is re-usable as it has a magnetic flap to open and close, so you can just store it (along with the plastic)/cables.On the whole, it makes for a decent gift - there's warranty for 1 year so that should clear up any concerns with having an effect on the heating element etc.
