This adapter does not work with HP Zbook. I wanted to connect the port replicator's power supply to the computer, but they have a different connector (thank you HP, btw). This seemed to be the perfect solution. The adapter is working mechanically, but Windows says: "The smart power adapter is not working properly" and the battery is not charging. If you have a less demanding computer, this might work for you. I'm returning this.

I have bought several adapters from this vendor to use older laptop power supplies with different connector sizes (mostly Dell). They are well made and work great for me. Will buy more as needed.

Doesn't work on my 2018 Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 nor my 2019 Dell Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1. These adapters fit my old Dell power supplys and fit my new Dell laptop, but the laptop doesn't recognize the old power supply as a valid one. This isn't the fault of the adapter, so 3 stars anyway.

It was perfect. I sent my pLaptop in for service and they sent the wrong charger back. I got this instead of paying$110 to hp for a new charger. It charges my laptop without any issues now for the past 3 months.

These are sturdy and both ends fit nice and tight. You can keep all your old power sources for very little cost.

Now I can use one of my many older HPE power supplies on the new laptop

Works perfectly. I leave it in my travel bag and use it on flights with my headphone as that jack’s housing is too large for my phone case. Been using it now for over 6 months on flights even international one and it works well. Reliable and good quality.

I am very unhappy with these. Each one died in about a month and a half...Get something better.
