Spellbinding Images
I came across Kerby Rosanes books by accident - would not have thought they were my cup of tea at all, but having had a peep at the pictures on Amazon I was so intrigued I knew I would have to see the book, and I really do love it.The book itself, I would say is overall of medium quality. The paper is quite high grade, though pens do bleed through. Pictures are printed on both sides and some are double sided. Opening the book reasonably flat is possible with work, but still some of the double sided images are lost in the spine. The biggest annoyance to me is the fact that some of the drawings are left for me to fill with my own drawings and doodles - if I could draw I would be creating my own pictures to colour and not buying colouring books. I admire anything really imaginative, fairy tales, Harry Potter, Science Fiction etc. and this artist is right up there with the best. A wonderful imagination coupled with a really enviable ability to draw makes this artists books a must for me. Beautiful sketches of real animals gradually morphing into wild imaginatve creations make truly spellbinding images. Very good for testing all my colouring techniques.

Another great colouring book by Kerby Rosanes
I am a huge fan of the Kirby Rosanes colouring books as the have so much detail and scale that they offer great scope for colours and imagination. I have used pencils and felt markers and while the paper can sometimes get damaged with markers (especially when shading/blending colours) with a little bit of care and attention this can be eliminated. The reason for the 1 star off is a lot of the pictures cover 2 pages and this can cause issues when colouring within the join/spine of the book, but the quality of the pictures themselves far outway this issue.Would highly recommend this book and all the others in the Morphia series.

Love it!!!
I wanted something to do to wined down at the end of the day after work. I used to hand see a lot but fancied something different. I find it very therapeutic and calming and all the different beautiful and intricate designs are wonderful. I've only had it a few days and making a small dent in it. Highly recommend and will probably buy as prezzies for people.

Wonderful, whimsical colouring book
I love coloring books, and this one had some interesting looking drawings, so I decided to go ahead and buy it.The pictures are amazing with lots of fun areas to colour. Not too many large white spaces, which I personally dislike, and plenty of small intricate areas to colour on all of them, which I personally love. The images are fun and whimsical, and there are spaces to have a go at drawing yourself. I'm not a very good artist, but I have recently been trying out Zentangle, so it should be fun to give it a go.I also love the ''All the answers'' part in the back, as there are smaller images of all the drawings, without the book break in the middle, so you can appreciate how beautiful the images are.My only issue is that the pages are double sided. I colour in quite hard, so I have to sacrifice a few pages, which is frustrating to me. Although I didn't deduct a star because honestly quite a few coloring books do this.

Mainly love it
The detail on this is amazing. However some of the lines are rather sketched than drawn. Also there are pages where you are supposed to draw or doodle your ideas within the picture. Unfortunately for me that is a big no as I really cannot draw. I was a bit irritated by this as it means that there are probably half a dozen illustrations I will not be able to "do" because of this. This is a prime example of where seeing what the book contains on Amazon would be more helpful. If you were in a shop you would flick through a book to see if you liked it. It is possble thay I may not have purchased this had I seen it first, Having said that I will colour in what I can but may not buy anything else by this artist. The attached coloured drawing is from the book.
