Zoo Poo: A First Toilet Training Book (Barron's Educational Series)

Simple story about Doo-Doo
If your child loves animals and you are looking for a poop potty training book then this book is it! I was looking for alternatives to Where's the Poop and Everybody Poops (classics and also great.) My 3 yr old loves the zoo so I thought I'd give this book a try (my 3 yr old uses the potty regularly for peeing however not for pooping.) It's a simple story- a little boy takes a trip to the zoo with a few friends and sees animals taking a "doo-doo." A little added bonus- the little boys friends interact with the animals creating a bit more silliness to the story. The book is a quick read with simple rhymes. There is one sentence per illustration. The illustrations are on the "artsy" side, slightly muted however still vibrant with a fair amount of detail and friendly animals (even the tigers' face looks gentle.) I'm happy I purchased the book even though I didn't see the inside first. Hope this review helps!

Great book to learn about pooping and that not just people poop, but the animals in the zoo poop too. I bought this after a trip to the zoo, and we have a toddler that will not poop anywhere but in a diaper. she is not comfortable on the toilet, but she enjoyed the book. We are still working on pooping without a diaper.

Really Good book
I love this book for my toddler. I am trying to make potty training fun and exciting and since we go to the zoo....he can understand now the difference. He likes the little boy in the book and he also points at the poo in the book. yes, there are many many pictures of poo in this book. What better way to teach than to be honest!!

Funny Potty Training book.
My girls loved this book. Great accommodation to potty training, but is hilarious for the few years after. I love to give this as a gift to new moms, it's so funny!

Eh.
Only ok. The pictures weren't all that great and there was very little about going potty on the toilet.

Lame don't waste your money!
This book sucked. I never give bad reviews but this book calls for it. First off the title says zoo poo but then on every page they call it doodoo instead of poo or poop or even poopoo. The title should say zoo doodoo. Story line is lame. Doesn't really teach anything. Or make my son want too poopoo on the potty like what I bought it for. We bought the book where's the poop at the same time as this book and my son loves that one! Forget this one!

GREEEEEAAAAAAT Book, super fun!
If you have a child that's 2, 2,5 years, this book is a must! Poo is so interesting in this phase and my daughter finds it so funny and loves to point out the poo and the tails and the bottoms of all the animals. Great reading fun and also helpful in teaching about using the potty.

worked a treat with my toddler who was afraid to poo! We would read this whilst he sat on the toilet and after 3 days, all was well! Never looked back!

Enjoyable book
I had to change a few words for my son to understand but a fun book. Great pictures for my son to look at.

My son loves it!
Simple and gets him talking about poo, which is good because he's still insisting on a nappy and we are trying to talk more in general with him about the whole process.
