Great coat. Mine is for dog walking, deep, deep pockets and one pocket inside. But you could wear it anywhere as it looks lovely. Waterproof and warm. A big ,but not too big, hood that zips right up. True to size so no need to go up a size. Well worth the money. Well made will last for ever.

I wanted to wait a little while to review this coat to hopefully try it in some different weather conditions. The first time wearing it was a baptism of fire! Torrential downpours, gusty winds, and rapidly dropping temperatures. It passed the test with flying colours. I was toasty warm and totally dry. Further wearing in similar conditions and its still performing just as well.The length is great at just below mid-thigh and means that I don't end up with freezing legs. Being slightly busty I went up a size so I could wear extra layers in the winter. The coat is actually a bit big but there is the option to cinch in the waist and definitely room for a chunky jumper, not that I think i will need it as its like wearing a duvet for warmth.The hood is a good size and actually stays up! I can comfortably wear a wooly hat under it for those really cold mornings walking the dog.This coat is fantastic and I feel very good value for money. Can't recommend it highly enough for staying warm and dry.

I'm very happy with this jacket - reading all the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm usually a UK 14 (top) and UK 12 (bottom) so I went for the L as it was a couple of inches larger than my actual measurements and that's exactly what I ended up with - enough room for wearing extra layers underneath if needed but it doesn't feel too big without. I wanted something warm, waterproof and to see me through dog walking in winter, whatever the weather, and have room for added layers. The waist can be pulled in with the inside drawstring to give more shape as you need it. I'm 5ft 4" so the length for me comes to lower mid thigh which keeps the top of my legs warm. I've worn it in light/med rain and fairly strong wind, over the last couple of days - it's great for blocking the wind and kept me perfectly dry after being out in it for about an hour (will test it out in heavier rainfall in due course). It's comfortable and snug to wear with warm and useful pockets - the temperature control is good - not getting too hot when walking a lot but still keeping nicely warm and dry. The dual zip (top and bottom opening) is always nice to have and there's also an option to open the back vent button, if you need extra stride. The hood is also warm - I wouldn't say it's overly large as some have suggested but agree there isn't anything to hold it in place or tighten it, especially if very windy (you can easily wear a hat inside when really cold, which could help hold the hood in place better, or maybe add some ties inside?). I also found the sleeves to be a good length having average length arms, I think!? The fabric is really nice and the finish on my jacket is good. I bought the brown one - lovely shade and overall, I'm very happy with it!

This is a really good jacket and has already become indispensable wear.The first one came with a faulty zip but replacement was quickly organised.Am a size 10/12 and purchased Medium on reading the reviews. It is an excellent fit, just right for me but if you are 12/14 would definitely be too small. Cannot understand comments on sleeve length as I have fairly long arms and the sleeves are plenty long enough; the storm cuffs are great and come to base of thumb so wouldn't want any longer. Some people refer to a faux fur strip on hood which can be unzipped ? No fur (thank goodness) and no zip on mine !Also would comment that the shape is exactly as portrayed, waist fits well (and has a drawstring to tighten) and the jacket is a well fitting and good length.Very warm without being over bulky and have tested in fairly heavy downpour and was completely waterproof..Texture of jacket is not slippery and has a matt, 'weave' type finish which makes it pleasant to wear (unlike some waterproofs) and also reasonably smart for town and country use.I walk miles in all weathers and am delighted with this jacket - exactly the replacement for an old faithful.It is rather long and well fitting for cycling but there is a reverse zip function which should mean ok if you want to horse ride.Only niggle is hood which is quite big , tends to blow back and rather obscures your vision. This is a minor point and a common problem with hoods I find (my Barbour is the same)

This is my 2nd Berydale jacket. This one is in blue. I just bought it and did not use it yet however I had the same model but in brown for the last 5 years. I am not joking, have been using it all the time and lasted that long. I live in channel islands, not very cold but often windy and wet. This jacket is perfect for this weather.Jacket is very well made, fabric is sturdy and waterproof. Fits nicely, hood is spacious and protects well, slaves are rather long, nice design, looks good on the figure. Sizing is small. I usually wear size8 but my jacket is size M, one size up to my usual. I am very happy to write this review as I appreciate this product very much, it is worth spending time to share this information with others. Thank you!

I’ve had this coat a few months now and can highly recommend it.I live in the Highlands and am out in all weathers and terrains. It is definitely waterproof and wind proof and dries quickly after a soaking.It is extremely warm and as a result, you certainly won’t need to wear a jumper underneath it.The long cuffs/ hand warmers are a great addition and the large, lined pockets keep your hands warm.Good size phone pocket and the double zip is great!My only complaint (as has been noted on other reviews), is that the large hood blows down as there is nothing to hold it in place, which is simple to remedy by the maker and should have been thought about. That being said, I bought 3mm elastic cord and some toggles (available on Amazon) and threaded it through the seam of the hood. My coat is now perfect.🙂

Es un parka muy bonito a la vez que elegante. Todavía no lo he estrenado pero seguro que hará su papel. La talla es la correcta aunque las mangas sean un poco largas, en mi caso. Muy satisfecha de la compra.

Ce manteau est très très bien.Il a l'air chaud. Moi qui croyais que c'était juste un coupe vent, et bien non, il est bien doublé et est chaud. Il est long. Il arrive un peu au dessus des genoux de mon ado qui fait 1m67, et à mi cuisses pour moi qui fait 1m80. Il a de nombreuses poches, assez grandes pour mettre un téléphone par exemple. La capuche est haute c'est vrai, mais pas trop car j'ai un long cou, donc le devant me couvre la bouche, c'est parfait pour moi. Il va être très efficace pour la pluie vu la matière. Il est parfait en M pour ma fille (elle met du M d'habitude) et un peu juste au niveau des épaules pour moi, mais ca passe avec un pull fin. D'habitude je met du L. Le M était au super prix de 37 euros, de ce fait je n'ai pas hésité. La couleur bleu est belle. Je suis très satisfaite.

Premetto che l'ho comprato in offerta con il Black Friday quindi l'ho pagato 45 euro anziché quasi 100 e credo di aver fatto un affare.sembra davvero di ottima fattura, resistente e ben rifinito. Le maniche con polsino che si aggancia al pollice sono il top, in questo modo se per caso ci si dimentica i guanti questi vanno a coprire tutto il palmo lasciando fuori solo le dita. Tasche ampie e felpate all'interno. Ottima imbottitura interna e laccetti per evidenziare il punto vita finalmente nascosti e non all'esterno come la maggior parte dei parka in commercio. Stile casual ma anche elegante, i bottoni sono più grandi che in foto ma a me non dispiacciono. È molto maneggevole pur essendo imbottito non pesa addosso anzi sembra molto leggero invece tiene caldo! Adoro il collo alto che protegge dal vento. Insomma l'unica cosa da tenere conto è la taglia , io vesto M ma basandomi sulle altre recensioni ho acquistato S e ho fatto benissimo, la M mi sarebbe calzata enorme. La S mi calza a pennello e riesco anche a indossare un maglione sottile sotto. Molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto.

Deze jas is echt perfect voor winter en regen, hij is waterdicht, winddicht en ruim genoeg om wat lagen eronder te dragen voor koude winters. Hij valt lekker lang, heeft goeie diepe zakken waar je flink wat in kwijt kan zoals telefoon, grote portemonnee, handschoenen, muts. Had m gekocht voor het winterse hondenweer in Amsterdam en ben er erg blij mee.

Ich hatte schon gut 2 Monate überlegt, ob ich mir diesen Parka bestellen soll. Frau möchte ja nicht mal eben so 85 Teuros in den Sand setzen. Letzendlich bereue ich keinen Cent. Der Versand war sehr zügig und ich hielt nach gut 2 Tagen meinen Parka in den Händen.Jacke an sich: Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Jacke gut verarbeitet aus. Ich nähe selber sehr viel und schaute mir natürlich genau die Nähte an, aber alles gut vernäht und vorallem sauber vernäht. Schon mal bestanden.Optisch finde ich, macht sie sehr viel her, ein schöner dunkelblauer Ton. Große Taschen, wirklich große Taschen! Mein Test ergab 1 Samsung Handy + Schlüsselbund, ohne Platzmangel zu haben. Vorallem sind die Taschen tief, da fällt nichts mal eben raus.Schließt man die Jacke bis oben komplett, ist da noch genug Platz für einen dicken Kuschelschal und man ist trotzdem nicht eingeengt und es drückt nichts auf die Kehle. Das finde ich bei vielen Jacken so schlimm, man schließt sie und irgendwie drückt es auf die Kehle.Die Kapuze, gut ja sie ist wie viele schon geschrieben recht großzügig :-) Ist aber soweit ok, schützte mich schon vor fiesen Dauerfisselregen. Meine langen Haare konnte ich aber sehr gut darin verstauen. Nur die Knöpfe an den Taschen mag ich nicht. Ist mir zu fummelig.Mein Highlight an dieser Jacke sind die Ärmel. Die "Daumschlaufen" haben es mir angetan. Ich bin ein Handschuhmuffel und freue mich nun sehr, dass mir meine Hände also nicht mehr extremst abfrieren dadurch. Außerdem ist es beim Hundespaziergang ebenfalls angenehm, da die Händchen geschützter sind. 2. Vorteil, wer Rad oder Roller fährt (so wie ich), dem pfeift der Wind nicht direkt ums Handgelenk. Innenleben der Jacke beeinhaltet eine Innentasche und Bündchen zum enger schnüren an der Taille! Super! Dadurch wirkt man nicht klobig und hat Taille auch im Wintermantel. ;-)Zur Größe: Ich trage eigentlich Größe XS-S, je nachdem wie ein Kleidungsstück ausfällt. Bin ca. 160cm klein. Ich habe S bestellt und habe genug Platz für T-Shirt, Pullover, evtl. sogar noch ein dünnes Top. Aufgrund meiner Größe geht mir der Parka bis zum, naja, ich sag mal oberen Oberschenkel. Hat ja auch was damit zu tun ob jemand einen langen Oberkörper, kurze Beine etc. hat. Ich habe mir die Beschreibung angeguckt und an mir abgemessen. Unten ist die Jacke etwas weiterausgestellt, find ich ganz ok, so kann man als kleinerer Mensch sich gut hinsetzen und wem das nicht reicht, der öffnet einfach den unteren Reißverschluss ein wenig.Test draußen: Bei ca. 3 Grad, hatte ich die Tage nur ein Shirt unter der Jacke und mir war warm. Gestern, netter Dauerfisselregen + Wind (ca. 45kmh) bei ca. 4-5 Grad....warm und trocken. Obwohl die Jacke recht dünn wirkt, hält sie warm. Der Regen perlte wunderbar ab! Heute Morgen, wieder Regen und selbst die Haare unter der Kapuze komplett trocken.Waschbar bei 30 Grad, evtl. danach mal einsprühen!Fazit: Für mich jeden Cent wert, würde ich jeder Zeit wieder kaufen! Sieht schick aus, hält warm und trocken!
