this is a fantastic phone does everything i need with out spending big bucks , since buying this phone i have since bought another for my son i would definitely recommend this phone

My Tech savvy husband requested this, and he is happy with it.

phone is ok - does the job - but few annoying things which could had done better without - i got this as its size is reasonable smaller but still too big - can't fit properly in pocket and falls out. - guess the other positive is the battery is removable compared to other similar in market. 1) inbuilt YOUTUBE app - locked to phone - it's awful version, standard app would been much easier and less hassle as this constantly crashes 2) spyware? Spam app and hidden stuff keeps popping up - virus checker identifies as part of built in apps - again annoying as can't remove. 3) charging is fairly slow

Like other critical reviewers, I had no alternative but to return this phone. It seemed fine at first but then it started to download junk ads and porn. Security scans showed that the O/S was infected with pre-installed malware (including YouTube trojan) that was impossible to remove or disable. The malware switched off my phone protection system and when I tried to disable the infected apps by using 'force stop', the O/S simply seized up. Amazon should consider whether it continues to sell this phone.

I bought this phone in December, and was aware it was a gamble and a potential security risk. I experienced the issues with YouTube etc... As described in other reviews, this appeared after a few weeks. Eventually, I found a system update on Cubot's website. This appeared to correct the issue, and the Trojans no longer showed up on avast or malwarebyte scans. However, I can't say whether that is because it no longer has any malware, or because the malware is now well enough disguised that it won't show up on the scans. I don't have any sufficiently sensitive information on my phone that it makes much difference to me whether it is being spied on. So overall, I'm quite happy with it, as otherwise, the quality to price ratio is pretty good. However, I would have very little confidence in my data being safe on it.

Another superb Cubot phone. All for under a ton, what can I say this is the third Cubot in the family. I have a Samsung s 6 and I would say the Cubot is better! Except for the camera which is sensational on the Samsung. Cubot camera is awesome.

Took a chance with this, but I am delighted. The phone is sturdy, looks good and so easy to use. Comes with rubber cover and screen protector, has dual sim and an impressive battery life. Love it!

A smaller version of the CUBOT Dinosaur but seems less powerful albeit having the same specs. The three touch buttons on the bottom of the phone for Home, Return etc are quite insensitive, very frustrating as you need to keep pressing them. The phone is a little slower than expected and the battery life is very poor. Typically its down to 50% after 5 hours.
