First, the design alone is enough to make you want it—it’s that perfect blend of retro charm and modern luxury that instantly upgrades the whole countertop. It feels solid, premium, and just beautiful to look at. Functionally, it’s fantastic. The toasting is consistent every single time, and I love that each side works independently so I can do toast on one set and bagels on the other without fighting for settings. The bagel mode is chef’s kiss—crispy on the cut side, warm on the other. The wider slots also handle everything from thick sourdough slices to frozen waffles with no problem. The controls are smooth, the browning levels are accurate (no random burnt surprises!), and it even lifts the toast high enough that you don’t burn your fingers fishing anything out. It feels like SMEG really thought through every detail. Is it pricier than the average toaster? Absolutely. But the design, craftsmanship, and consistent performance make it more than worth it. There is a defrost function which makes thawing and toasting up frozen bread and pastries a quick and easy process. This toaster combines style and function making it a great addition to your kitchen.

My wife and I have had our eye on this Smeg toaster for quite a while and we finally decided to indulge ourselves and buy it. It’s beautifully designed and looks great in our kitchen. It’s the perfect size. This is a high quality product with lots of features including: 6 different heat settings, bagel, defrost, and reheat. Lastly, the color is just superb. We’re going to be looking forward to many years of use with this toaster.

Whilst beautiful to look at, this toaster after rwo years started fusing the outlet. I am unable to find a USA number or email to contact the maker.

I was skeptical of this toaster, because of the excessive price and generally mediocre reviews, but my wife *really* wanted one. I have to admit, I'm a bit of a convert. It's beautiful, retro styled, and it's an all metal body (except some of the accent pieces). It's very solidly built, and it makes excellent toast, and quickly. The controls are a pleasure to use. It even pops up gently, compared with most modern toasters. My only complaints are that it is, unlike a lot of Smeg items, made in China, and it appears to be using the same general internals as nearly all made in China toasters. It's definitely a high end version of that, but it's a touch disappointing. It also has the bagel option where the outside elements of each pair are on, rather than the inside, meaning that you have to counterintuitively turn the pieces of the bagels outward, rather than just dropping them straight in as they come apart. It's a small complaint, but it's definitely something that older toasters got right, and every toaster made today seems to get wrong. Overall, an excellent toaster, and a very attractive one, but it's a bit of a hard sell as far as value for the money.

La verdad me arrepiento de haberlo comprado y no devolverlo cuando pude. El producto está bien, el color súper lindo, pero en otros sitios lo vi aprox dos mil pesos más barato.

Me parece un súper producto pero yo creo que en Mexico el voltaje es distinto pues en 2 ya se quema el pan, hay que aprenderle las mañas y ver en qué número es el tostado ideal (ente 1 y el Pan)
